Are the video game prices set by some master database that makes the games identically priced between the stores, or does each store have the option to set their own prices (especially on used older stuff i.e. PSX, Gameboy Advanced)?

well i guess in terms of used games each store might have different prices? cause some games might be in different conditions than others? :| not sure about that.. but as for bnib games.. prices should be the same since it's the same store, just different locations :|

i assume ther'es a general msrp on each game. and each retailer can put whatever price they wish i guess.

i mean sometimes retailers don't update their prices and when a game is out for a while / it goes greatest hits..it still is 49.99

radio shack (the source circuit city is a great example)

and then you have sales etc.

generally for next gen games..i've found on avg (new releases):

ps3 - 69.99
360 - 59 or 69.99
wii - 59.99

If it's different, someone is not updating their prices.
