Only the 1st system is warm. The rest is cold compared to a recent $380 Dell X2 3800+ Vista home with similar specs.

Yeah, I know. I did a search and found the prices of these systems really haven't changed since February (or even further back). I thought they were all gone by now. Didn't think they'd have a whole skid of new ones still in store.

Obviously, I haven't been paying enough attention here.

Ya I had hoped that after the vista upgrade offer expired the deals would get better. Nope, dissapointing.

seems like they're restocking clearance compys every now and then...

one time they may be OOS, but then next time you walk in there's more avail.... just that model/brand may be slightly diff.

and yeah, the prices haven't really changed much.

Can I still get Vista Home ?

Only if you can carry it.

Okay, seriously; no, you can't.

Haven't been in a Staples the last couple weeks, but I know they do update the price tags every so often (without changing the price.) I guess the "phantom stock" is making an appearance.

and yeah, the prices haven't really changed much.I picked up the P4 160 for my gf's mom. Good deal for a basic computer with DVD burning capabilities. They told me they found these tucked away in the back when they were doing some cleaning. How the heck do you not notice a pallet of computers? All the price tags said April 4, 2007.

Just walked in today and found these. Too bad there weren't any dual cores for under $400.

Just a small fix. This computer has a 200GB SATA - probably a Seagate. The DVD Burner is probably a NEC 3550A and the MB is an ASUS P5P800-MX.
