Hello,
I'm looking for an OTA HDTV tuner. Has anyone seen any in stores in Ontario (Ottawa particularly). They seem to be rather hard to locate.

None of these are carried in stores. If it doesn't work, BST it here or put it back on eBay.

Try Onair HDTV GT. They can be found online at expansys.ca. This item has good reviews at hdtvexpert. You can also find some users evaluation at digitalhomecanada.ca

You can get the Happaguge (sp) USB HDTV tuner from BB/FS if your PC has TV out. That way you can test to see if you'll get any good signals and still have a return policy just in case.
It's also *alot* cheaper than the $200+ USD I saw just now on google searching for the new model. Less than $100 on sale at BB.

Try www.sensuz.com (http://www.sensuz.com)
They have the widest selection of OTA tuners, and antennas.
I''ve bought all my OTA stuff through them in the past year.

I paid about 120 total (inc. shipping) for my samsung 451, and it's a great little box. If you can't find something for cheap locally, you can definitely find something decent on ebay, as its an older model.

I picked up a used Samsung SIR-TS160 off ebay from a canadian seller last year for $25.
I needed a direcTV card to disable to satellite option, which cost less than $5 shipped on ebay.
A basic receiver for OTA capabilities, but does the trick.
