it's kind of hard when people keep jumping ship and coming back on, so why dont you just shutup and stay out of it. instead of being thankful, ill i hear is complaints.

Thornhill Tints is very good. Richard is a quality guy, his work is good.

A bunch of us from VW/Audi forums, all got it done by him. Whover gets their tint from TT won't be disappointed.

You should ask richard how many cars are needed in order to get it to under $200 for the job, once you have that number you can solicite people to join.

Just asked my friend who has a nice tint on his 4 door Accord, he had paid $170 incl taxes for lifetime warranty from Tint King.

That was just one car and it was 4 dr.

I had to book my appt for the 18th and not knowing when this group thing is happening, I couldn't afford to wait any longer given my 8hr trip to get there and small time window to get er done.

I was quoted $260 tx incl. Probably could have gotten better, maybe still can once I get there. If not, oh well - at least from all I've read I know I'll be getting a good tint (hopefully). :razz:

Does seem a little high doesn't it. Then again the other gb thread said they quoted 230 for 4dr sedan. Like I said, I'll see what I can do when I get there. For now it was important for me to get the appt. so I know it fits into my travel plans.

Now just to decide on what to do with the girls while it's getting done :S

i don't think there is such a thing as 100% bubble free, just IMO. It really depends on how picky people are. Look closely at your rear tint from the inside out in a well lit area. you will see tiny bubbles.

But again, it really depends on how picky people are...

... Dropped the car at 10:30am and picked it up at 4:00pm. ... Now im seeing light refracted from thru the back of my windshield...I dont know if thats normal... He did say it takes 3 days to dry and then it should be good to go.

how much was it?

also, about the airbubbles. check the rear tint after a few days. you will likely find small airbubbles. inspect the tints from inside-out.

260 Is a good deal I went there and for a 2 door car he wanted 350 cash for the lifetime tint. But as soon as I told him the car had been tint befor and removed now the guy at the shop no longer wanted to do it.:confused:

Don't know what the norm price is with TT.

Just called them and they quoted me $330 for my SUV. Talk about a Rip off, I got a pricing from FX and they are doing this for $250 Any places that are cheaper and good.
