I recieved a flyer in the mail today from Long and McQuade (long time customer), and it looks like some kind of big sale. The date on the magazine says June 1-30th, so I guess it begins then. ABOUT THE 0% FINANCING

There's a whole page of small font detailing which days you get the 0% financing. Like for week 1 you'll get 0% financing on fender guitars, maybe next week on something else. I'd photo it, but it'd be really difficult to make out. However, some dates:

June 2nd: Guitar Set Up Day
"Bring your guitar. Buy some strings. Receive a free set up. Simple as that. One set up per person."

June 9th: Half Price Rental Day
"Need we say more? New rentals only. Maximum term 1 month."

June 16th: Customer Appreciation Day
"With free food and live entertainments."

Might want to check the above out if you're a regular customer. Free food!

June 23rd: Yorkville Gift Card Day
"Spend 50$ or more on any Gibson, Epiphone, or Traynor product, and receive a $10 Yorkville Gift Card! One per customer."

June 30th: Canada Day
The synopsis is really long, but tl;dr, it's recieve 6 months 0% financing on any Canadian made instrument, and receive a free Long and McQuade keychain if you do. Godin guitars, Traynor, etc. Google Canadian instrument manufacturers and you should get a list.

I am sure there's more stuff on sale than what is in the flyer. I remember back in November during their 0% financing deal, a lot of instruments were on sale, including banjo's. Apparently L&M does this deal once every 6 months, so who knows.

I may get the Kramer just because I've been looking for a strat-shaped guitar. At that price, you could easily swap the electronics and wind up with a great beater for about $200! Thanks for the post.

That'll be tough. From what I've read, the Washburn D10S is an amazing entry-level guitar, and it starts at >$200.

reg. price of the epiphone guitar?

When I bought it, it was 199$, but in white. The skull one had cost 235$ when I went to buy mine in November.

edit, I should clarify. I bought a white Les Paul Special II in November for 199$, but this skull one is a limited edition, and was selling for 235$ at the time I bought my white one.

They have more guitars, just at 1AM~ in the morning, I just wanted to sleep.

I'm trying to find a decent acoustic for < $100. Any listed / suggestions? Thanks!

I bought an Epiphone DR100 for 110$ about 5 months ago. Excellent acoustic, and was very inexpensive. If you want a photo, I can snapshot mine and post it.

In the flyer, however, the only acoustic that sticks out, and it's also coincidentally the least expensive, is the Yamaha F325 priced at 160$. My friend has one, it's a really nice guitar.

I suggest going to www.zzounds.com, or was it zzsounds? Anyways, I go to this site to get an idea of how much a guitar costs, and it has a wide variety of listings for not only guitar and bass, but any instrument. Pictures and descriptions of every guitar is also in it.

Are there any good beginner amps? If that Kramer guitar is as good as everyone says, I'll pick one of those up with some kind of amp. My first electric in highschool was a piece of junk that I got rid of as fast as I could. Been using a Classical ever since heh.

Do you think a modified Kramer (as another poster suggested) would be as good as that Les Paul Special II?

Gibson owns the Music Yo Kramers ...

Gibson's cost more because they are made in U.S.A. Quality has gone way down hills over years, to justify they're premium price tag with crappy carp hardware. QC and cost costing had to be employed to order to remain competitive with imports. Beleive it or not, some overseas guitar are on par in the quality department if not better than American guitars at 1/3 of the cost. It is a widely know fact that the 80's Japanese strats were better than the American ones, at half the price. Hence the reason why Fender cancelled them. This is also how ESP made a name for themselfs by making import guitars for Kramer in the 80's. Of course once they got endorsements from the Metallica boys, they jacked up they're prices. Same can be said for Ibanez when Vai and Satch were brought on board. But this is different topic that should be discussed in music forums ....

So to answer your question a quality $300 import, with after market pickups and better hardware should be on par or better with your $1000 American guitar. Not saying that is gonna rival a PRS, but you get the point. And I don't think a $100 starter package guitar is gonna be better than a les paul studio no matter what you do with it.

The of the premium that comes with USA guitars is the cost of labour, marketing, and the mystic that USA guitars are at the top of the food chain. But its slowly dying, just like the car industry :)

And the answer is yes. They both some with crappy hardware. Just change the pickups for like $70.

Listen to this man. For the first couple months of guitar I just played tabs, then I decided to buy Guitar Pro 5, and I must say, the month or so I've used it, I must have bettered myself 10 times as much as those 5 months without.

edit; also, if you're aiming for a beginner guitar, get the Kramer. It's usually around 150$, so you save 33% the original price. It's got both singlecoils and doublecoils, so it'd be agood guitar to tell what you want in a guitar. Nice strat body, and Kramer is a subsidiary of Gibson, so expect quality.

I wouldn't trust some techie getting paid $10/h to set up my guitars.

But I think they're interpretation of a "set up" is pretty much slapping on the strings. (I could be wrong be wrong). I doubt they will adjust your truss rod, and play with your saddles to properly intonate the guitar.

It's almost too good to be true .... You buy a set of $7 strings and they set up your guitar?

Respectable place like the 12th fret charge $75 to $100 for a pro setup.

12th Fret, you mean on Danforth? They have a good selection of Les Pauls, but not much else. :P

I've never had it setup at L&M, I've always done it myself. I once bought some chrome volume and tone knobs, and I asked them to fix that up for me, 'cause the knobs themselves wouldn't fit, so they had to, well, fit it. They said it'd take 15 days waiting to get to my "turn", then another week before I get it back.

But I am sure they would tune your guitar for free (they always did for me at least).

Ya I know what you mean. They're old school, more targeted towards the boomers. Your not gonna find no Ibanez, Jackson, ESP in there. Gibsons, Fenders, the occasional PRS plus a ***** load of acoustics and thats about it.

They do provide quality service though, hence why the wait time is long round. A lot of money to be made high end and vintage equipment. No $200 guitar in there.

The package I bought for $49 included the left-handed guitar, strap, gig bag, 20W amp, stand, instructional DVD, and electronic tuner.
However, the crazy deal I got ($75 CAD all-in after shipping and duty) isn't available anymore for us Canadians, probably bc they spent more to ship it then it was worth, so everyone else is out of luck unless you have an Amerifriend. They do still have some other cheap closeout guitars and basses on their website (http://www.music123.com) if you can get it shipped stateside.

Roland and Voxx both produce excellent practice amps that beginners and pros alike love. You can find a model at every price point, but the AD30VT that's advertised in that flyer is really a great amp. I was about to buy one, but I opted for a vintage tube amp instead.

As for the guitar question, it's really about what sounds good to you. One thing to realize about guitars is that performance doesn't scale proportionately with price; that is, a $2000 guitar won't necessarily sound ten times better than your $200 beater. It's all about playability and the sound you prefer. Both the guitars you're comparing are Chinese-made products (the LP might be Korean, but I doubt it), so you should expect a lower standard of quality: cheaper/composite woods, bodies or necks composed of multiple pieces, cheaper tuners, cheaper pickups. The type of wood and pickups have a major effect on how a guitar sounds. IMO you should try both guitars stock and decide which sounds better to you -- in the end, you may not want to switch the pickups out at all.

When considering mass-produced guitars, Japanese and American-made models generally use better materials and are inspected better than your average Indonesian, or Chinese-made guitar. Korean guitars have also come a long way, with Japanese manufacturers outsourcing to Korean factories for their low-to-mid end models. That's not to say a $1000 American guitar is lemon-proof and a $100 Chinese guitar is guaranteed to be a piece of trash; play it, feel it, hear it, and make the decision yourself. :)

ZOOM is pretty much the joke of the industry when it comes to digital effects, hence the cheap price.

Pedal wise Line 6 POD can pretty much do everything at around $200.

ZOOM is pretty much the joke of the industry when it comes to digital effects, hence the cheap price.

Pedal wise Line 6 POD can pretty much do everything at around $200.

I doubt it, they're not doorcrasher type sales. Neither are much cheaper than you would typically find them for.

Ok before I start bashing Zoom, I would like to say that sound is subjective. One mans garbage is another man treasure.

What it basically comes down to is the sound quality. I could go on for an hour bashing Zoom ... thin tone, distortion sounds like digital scratch, more effects not usable. And its not just me, they're reputation speaks for itself. Google some reviews, and you'll get the idea.

If you're just starting, don't buy a pedal of effects at the start. I bought a decent wah pedal soon after I got guitar, and I returned it because I wasn't skilled enough to make it work right.

What is the best way?..... *besides expensive lessons and guitar hero :p.
What guitar is good... for a beginner.... acoustic or electric?

Guitar pro as an instructional tool is a terrible suggestion. You WILL NOT develop proper playing techniques this way. It is not a learning tool but rather for those who simply want to tab out their favorite music. It's amazing that there are people suggesting this as a learning tool - this is an a*s backward way of learning the guitar and would only further frustrate the beginner. What you need is a good insructional dvd, I know of a few but the names escape me. Long and Mcquade do sell some great instructionals, ask some of the pros there and they will find something tailored to your learning style. Myself, I've always preferred DVD + book instructional series. There is one I got my gf as she is learning the acoustic, i will be sure to get the name later.

You need something structured that covers all the basics, otherwise yo8u'll end up like a lot of these guys playing for 10+ that sound lousy and have terrible technique which grossly impedes any hopes of improving.

Zoom is for people who don't really care much for quality. Zoom construction is sub par when compared ot other companies such as digitech or boss. The quality of their effects, particular modulation effects is quite low and 'hollow', this is why they are so cheap.

I own a boss gt8 and though it costs around $600 it can get me virtually any sound i want. I am using it through a tube amp (5150 combo) and gets me sounds from Van Halen to Metallica to Clapton with a push of the dial. The gt8 actually sucks very little out of the original tone if it is used properly. If not, it sounds like mud.

ALso using a BBE sonic maximizer which EVERY guitarist who wants to have the best tone should have in his/her arsenal.

I wont push amps on you, best is to t go hear as many as you can! Randall makes for example a really cool distortion amp around $80. Great for practicing. Marshall has some, fender etc... Go listen to them find one that suites your needs. Each amp is different so what I suggest to you may not appeal to your taste.

I dont know why some guys in here are acting like the kramer is such a great deal - you can find it anywhere online for around the same price. However, it is local so i would be more inclined to buy at long and mcquade however it's not a very good guitar. If you want something decent you spend upwards of $400. But i can understand someone not wanting to pay that if they are not sure about pursuing guitar as a hobby. My first guitar was a kramer (original).

Lots of decent little guitar amps. I have a little randall which is a lot of fun to play with. Marshall makes them too as do many other companies. Go listen to a bunch of them or have the sales dude play on a few of them so you can see which suites your ear best!

I've played through both the Roland Cube 30 (which I own) and the Vox AD30VT and while the Vox has more effects, and options, There are some bugs that really annoy me on that amp. For example, when switching amp presets while an effect is on, the effect suddenly changes. And then you have toggle back to the effect you were just using to get it again. I will say however, the effects are nicely configurable, not like the Roland which seems to offer only a wet/dry mix sorta thing. It takes me a little longer to find the sound I want with the Vox, because of the amp presets which you can switch to manual, and then the sound that you think you're getting close to seems to get farther away. With the Roland, all I had to do was set my lead channel preset to "Classic" and set my EQ and gain accordingly, and I pretty much have the exact sound (Rock/Blues) that I'm looking for..add my BYOC Screamer and I'm in my own little world for a couple hours.

The Mackie HR824 monitors for $995 (regular 1500) seemed like a great deal. But I checked a few US sites and their regular price is $499 each, so really you are just saving the exchange/shipping. Better than nothing but not the seeming 50% off.

giaotze- you should try the guitars and get what feels and sounds best to you. If everyone says get a mexican Strat and you don't like it, then it doesn't really matter what "everyone" says. Also you could rent what you think might be good since rentals are half price. Plus if you buy that model after renting, L+M will give you 60% of the rental cost towards the price.

Before I give you my opinion, I would like to say that as your skills progress you will naturally want to upgrade your gear. Like what your are doing now. Kind of like beg $200 -> intermed $500 -> adv $1000 +. So in the future you may wish to sell your old unwanted guitar(s) ... for what ever reason.

Having said that Yamaha is one of the few really undervalued guitar. Great bang for the buck, high quality, can't really go wrong with the direction Gibson and Fender is heading in. At the same time they have probably the worst resale value imaginable. So if you buy a brand new $500 yamaha today, and decide to sell it tomorrow (used) you'll be lucky to get $200 back. Nothing to do with the quality, just its rep and marketability. I mean common Fender = what legends are made of Yamaha = lawnmowers, generaters lol

If you are worried about resale go with a something safe like a strat or ibanez. If you buy a $500 mexican Fender you can probably get say $$300 -$350 back. High quality instruments apreciate over time, and low quality depreciates. They hold they're values pretty well over time. If you really like the yamaha I say buy it.

Well, the selling point for Yamaha acoustics is the fact they come with limited-lifetime warranties which covers any manufacturers defects.

I purchased a Yamaha for a gf of mine earlier this year and we were both in agreement that the tone sounded much too flat. Yamaha's tend to have a more top-heavy/bass tone as opposed to some of the godin guitars I've heard. I prefer godin guitars such as art and luthiere, norman, seagull and Simon and Patrick. You can go here to browse their catalog http://www.godinguitars.com/. Most of these guitars you can find at Long and McQuade - the surrey store seems to have an ample selection of such guitars including a really nice array of the Norman brand guitars, some of which come with gorgeous satin-like finishes. All these guitars are handmade and assured of their quality.

Again, it all comes down to your ear - what sounds best to you. However, make certain you go for a solid top guitar either a spruce or cedar - again, both have different tonal characteristics so the decision is entirely a subjective one. Go down to Long and McQuade's Surrey store and spend the day there trying the various guitars. You will have no problem finding a pretty nice acoustic in the $400. In fact, I payed around $280 for my gf's Art and Luthiere (again, a Godin guitar) and it sounds beautiful! Not to mention, solid tops sound better with age (provided you care for them properly).

This is a picture of my gf's guitar, her's is the one to the left. It's a very simple design and it has a matte finish. It is also smaller so for someone of her stature it's a perfect fit!

Honestly, the best advice anyone can give you is for you to go down to L&M, or any other guitar store, and listen to as many as you can! If you are a beginner, the sales person will be more than happy to play the guitars for you. I suggest while listening to them being played, close your eyes and REALLY pay close attention to the audible tonal characteristics that each guitar produces! It's kind of the same as finding a great wine...you'll know when you taste it and it maybe that $12 bottle, not necessarily the one that sells for $100+. It's ENTIRELY subjective, what sounds good to my ear may not sound as nice to yours! Rest assured, I guarantee you'll find something in the GOdin line of guitar that will plesae your tonal palate.

That's a very impressive guitar by the way. I also have a SL1 in blue ghost flame, was younger at the time .... really wish I went for a flame top instead nowadays. Only thing is I swapped out my pickups for EMG's, not a big fan of the JB. I think it's probably the most over rated pickup in the Duncan line. Only complaint is ... as solid as the original floyd is, I think the Ibanez Edge has a way better design and feel to them. The Edge pro on my Prestige just feels so much smoother and with pretty much no resistence at all.

How much did you pay for yours? I paid $2100 tax in for mine, back in 98 @ Steves after some hard bartering. I noticed that prices have gone up a fair bit, since Fender took over. Saw a plain back SL2 a month ago at Steve's music, and the tag was $2,900

Mine was around $2500. Wow, the JB is probably my top pickup. I love the harmonic overtones and bottom end I get from the JB humbucker. I am not big on Ibanez they don't have the rich sustain and fat tone that is trademark of the Jacksons. Just goes to show how variable tone preference is from one person to the next.

I'll probably purchase an Ernie ball axis next.

If you want a good multi fx I HIGHLY Suggest the gt8. I can get some pretty awesome Soldano and Vintage Marshall as well as XXX Rectifier sounds using the Gt8 sims.Best multil fx unit I've ever encountered and there is almost 0 tonal depredation.

LOL!! Well, you ask 10 different ppl u'll get 10 different answers. Go to harmony central and look at the comments/reviews on this product. hah

Well, in a nut shell it brings your amp's speakers into proper phase. It does more however...Most people say it removes the 'blanket-effect' you get with some multi fx units.

Think of it as giving you more clarity, tighter control, and more presence to your signal. Since adding mine I can actually hear each note articulate much more clearly - it truly is a little miracle box, just checkout the reviews on this thing as I know I am not sufficiently explaining it's functionality.

Seriously, there's not much the boss gt8 can't do! It has most of the boss pedals built into it. This sound would be pretty easy to emulate. I am not sure which part of the song you are referring to. If you mean at around the 55 sounds like pitch shifting.

Here's an old sample I made with the gt8 using ONLY the gt8 and the speakers on my 5150 amp (bypassing the amp's preamp). In other words, this is simply using the soldano simulator on the gt8.http://www.zshare.net/download/20809085dc68dd/

I never meant to say that the JB was bad, certainly a lot better than stock. I just feel that is over rated, everyones praises it and when someone is going for a swap the first choice that always pops ups is always the JB. Yes it's versatile and have been around sine the mid 80's, but I just can't justify why every single high end guitar comes factory equipped with JB's. Especially Jackson .... I mean come on for who they're targeting, they should at least consider some higer output pickups.

I do know what you mean about the Ibanez though. Probably don't like thin body and bolt on necks. The soloist just feels so much more solid in build than most high end Ibanezs, and about twice as heavy .... lol

Tried the GT-8 and a POD xt Live side by side. Bose is def more powerful, with the ability the run 2 amps and all the stomp abilities. But I just felt the POD had the better amp/cab sims. I do agree that the GT-8 is probably the only amp mod out that dosn't eat away at the natural tone of the amp. The POD's awesome for PA's and monitors, but suck running it into an amp ... even with the cab sims turn off and using the efx loop. But I've ditched all of that for guitar rig and amplitube. Only pedal I still have is my morley wah and behringer midi controller.

Man the axis is so small. I couldn't believe it when I tried one out. Have you tried one yet? It's gonna be a big change is the Jackson is your main axe. Your going from 25.5 scale guitar with extra jumbo frets to something thats the physical size of a kiddie guitar. And I hate the fact that the floyd is non recessed.

I'm using garbage equipment. Planning to upgrade soon, though.

Uh, I dunno the model of my humbuckers, but they're very basic. And I'm using an Epiphone Studio 10 amp.

The soloist just feels so much more solid in build than most high end Ibanezs, and about twice as heavy .... lol

To me the jB is high output but then again I don't really get much heavier than Van Halen type distortion, so I can see for some shredders something even more high output may be desirable.

Yea the axis is so small!! I dare say that it is cute! I loved the Van halen signature models with the d tuna but the axis sport, I believe is virtually the same guitar minus the d-tuna and different shaped headstock. Those guitars are well made, plus VERY fat tone, do not underestimate these guitars they are among the best! (dont be fooled by their small size)

As for PA systems, I use my gt8 through my 5150's return loop (4 cable method) so i get the best of both worlds; Switching straight to my 5150 using the gt8 as just a modulation effects unit or using it's sims and bypassing the 5150s preamp. Yea, the fact that it can run stereo is awesome if u have the setup. Also, it supports dynamic mode which means it'll change channels depending on how hard you attack the strings - very cool! Look at some of hte demos on youtube, it's quite impressive!

If you like this guy's tone so much ask what he's using. Your garbage equipment, evidentially, is not a good start:P

We should post and compare eruption tones for kicks .... lol

I think I have it pretty much nailed dead on using amplitube. 2 plexi varitecs cranked, 60's marshall cabs with one mic on and one of axis. Tube screamer in front for a little extra drive + trem, flanger, little bit of delay, reverb and a $h!t load of eq.

You won't get eruption tone with flanger, use phase instead. I have the exact tone using my gt8 but it doesn't record well (though I'll try again this week).

I know he uses phaser, but I kind of like the delay spill over on the flanger. I've been tweeking this tone for over 2 month. Do you mic? record direct? via usb?

I just whipped this sample up using only the gt8(marshall sim/phase/rev/etc..etc..).

It's VERY rough and yes i know it's very high in the treble area to compensate for the $7 mic I am using. Slopped-up while decending. K enuff with the excuseshttp://www.zshare.net/download/20816265d3c7f3/

I just record directly into a computer mic, nothing fancy.

Here's another one using the soldano sim of the gt8

Eruption sounds good. I like the extra delay that you added.

I post when I get home from work tomorrow.

Why use a computer mic? I thought the GT-8 had a usb port for direct recording.

I dont think it does! Maybe some other type of port - i dont know to tell u the truth. I'll make a better sample this weekend.

BTW, the other clip i posted is without the bbe sonic maximizer. There's actually quite a big difference - maximizer gives it better articulation and seems to add much more presence.

Hey Guys

I want to buy an intermediate acoustic guitar as my beginner guitar really sounds bad. I was looking into yamaha fg720S/730, and they are around 3~400 dollars range.
Is there anything on this sale can be comparable to the Yamaha with better price? Just here to ask for opinions. I am sure some pro can enlight me :)

Thanks

If you don't mind a tiny little guitar, i think the taylor big baby sounds great.
The sound is bright/sharp and the price is around $400 @ L&M.

I was looking for a acoustic under $500 and I ended up buying a used takamine jumbo (made in korea tho).

Thanks for all the great suggestion. I guess the lesson I learned is to make the effort to the music store and use my ear to see, or, to hear what I like the best.
Special thanks to "dealwhore" for even posting up the pictures :P
I used to think Yamaha is "the brand", since my instructor really praise Yamaha guitar. He told me they make the best guitar at the affordable price range. Now I guess I will check out seagull, godin, art and luthiere, norman.. explore options..

Sales start tomorrow! We should start posting up the hunt :)

Thanks again for the help:razz:  :D :D

Yamaha does make excellent guitars. There are plenty of companies out there that make solid axes! It's not about what's popular, it's about what sounds gooooooood. Also, those brands you are looking to check out are all Godin companies! :D

My preference lies with Godin guitars. There's something really unique about Normans, Art and Luthieres, Seagull and Simon and Patrick guitars that I can't find with other acoustics - they're such well-crafted instruments. I feel that each Godin guitar is crafted with love and it really shows as these instruments age so beautifully that you'll never find yourself outgrowing it - it's tonal qualities will be further appreciated over time. I guess it is like finding that really fine glass of wine that you never tire of throughout the ages!

Each time I pickup a godin guitar, it's as though I am picking up an old friend (non homo).

I tried the Kramer Focus and it "felt wrong" in my hands. I've played Squire and Fender Strats before but the Kramer just didn't feel the same. Instead I picked up an Epiphone Les Paul Special II which was way more comfortable. I don't think it was part of the sale, but whatever. :)

Also instead of that Vox amp I went with a small beginner Traynor and bought a separate Zoom G1X effects pedal so I could bring it with me if I go play at a friend's.

L&M is an excellent company. i only purchase my music products from them now. If you talk to a sales person.. most times you can edge them to take a bit off the ticket price. which is always nice.

Purchased a whole church PA system from them before, and they were more than happy to try and make a new agreeable price after giving us what the ticket price for everything would be. Very knowledgable staff too, u got a guitar question? ask them. Recording gear issues? they usually have some very experienced individuals who offer lots of info.

And i usually pick up at least one good thing from their sales. Gotta check this one out. :D

The new kramer's arent to be confused with the original Kramer company of the 80s. Fender has been producing lots of junk lately - their quality has really suffered over the years.

If I was starting out I'd say the ibanez guitars are probably the best bang for your buck. Of if you can afford around $500 a jackson dnky. But again it's a matter of preference too, if you like bigger bodied guitars then maybe a gibson of sorts or something else entirely.

Just out of curiosity...
I like the look and feel of electric guitars....
but for someone who has never played.... should i learn on an acoustic or electric?... or does it really matter

Also.... could someone maybe pass on a demenoid invite to me :p.

Start on a acoustic and build your finger strength. It's also cheaper and simple (no knobs/amps/settings/electronics to deal with).

I think that's a good idea too. However, don't go from electric-> acoustic. Electric is so much easier to play for me, 'cause I started with electric, then bought an acoustic. I barely ever play the acoustic because it feels so awkward and big compared to the electric.

Good to know...
I love the warm sound of an acoustic guitar.
and i love the crazy rifts of an electric.
so... i'll learn on acoustic and then be able to do both :D
.... hopefully.....
How hard was it to pick up?.... Any prior music experience?
The good thing is that i have a good ear. and i played piano until the grade 8 level

Start with whichever you're more interested in. I purchased an acoustic and became disinterested several weeks later and subsequently returned it for an electric - best move i ever made.

If you prefer electric, start with that you'll stay more motivated.

For those considering on purchasing the Kramer guitar, I STRONGLY consider you look at these OLP guitars first. They're licenced copies of the Ernie Ball Music Man guitar... You can get one for $200 which is insane; if you do a little research on this guitar you'll see all the rave reviews (i.e. harmonycentral.com, musciiansfriend.com). I dont think you'll find any electric that compares to this one for the price. Folks are saying it compares to guitars 3-4x it's price which is an insane claim to make. I m tempted to order one even for myself.

I've been playing for 15 years, the specs and build of this guitar check out, it's almost hard to believe, however.
