Hi there,
I'm looking to buy a new desktop. My criteria includes good value, plenty of juice for surfing, photo-editing, and occasional gaming (and thus a PCI-E slot for graphics card upgrades).
I came across the following deal for an E521 from Dell. It's an "Online Deal" and I declined the monitor to take an additional $150 off, so it's:
AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor 3800+
Genuine Windows Vista™ Home Premium
No Monitor
Free Upgrade to 2GB DDR2 SDRAM AT 667MHz - $150
250GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/DataBurst Cache™
16x DVD+/-RW Drive
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE Integrated Graphics GPU
It would be $549+tax.
Seems pretty good to me; dual core, 2GB RAM.
What do you think? Thanks in advance.
