Out-of-control car injures three at T.O. school

An out-of-control car slammed into three students at Stephen Leacock Collegiate Institute in north Toronto on Friday.

Toronto Police Const. George Schuurman told CTV.ca that three people, ages 16, 18 and 22, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are now investigating the incident as a possible attempted murder.

Police have taken the driver of the red car into custody and Traffic Services is investigating.

The injured, two boys and a girl, are reportedly suffering from broken bones.

One of the injured was taken to Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, one was taken to the Hospital for Sick Children and the third was taken to St. Michael's Hospital.

There were reports that paramedics treated three others for their injuries at the scene, but they were not taken to hospital.

Stephen Leacock Collegiate Institute is located in Scarborough at 2450 Birchmount Rd. between Sheppard Avenue and Huntingwood Drive.

Not necessarily. My Dad tried to hit me and my mom with a car and shopped inches short of hitting us. All he got was 2 years probabtio for spousal abuse. They did not tkae my child abuse in consideration because his lawyer got the judge to believe that my mom was turning my against my father. He also go joint custody of me.
We had retraining orders against him but he came over any ways and when we called the police they never came.

The older guys, or atleast the ones in my year were decent, they actually studied and some were pulling off amazing grades while doing their so called 'gang' bs. Sure they'd hang out as a group but they wouldnt go as far as burning peoples houses down thats for sure or taking it as far as hurting one others family. I always found that the younger generation - not just tamils, black kids too - has this mentality that they own everything wherever they go.

These kids are just stupid or all of them got dropped on their head when they were born. 90% of them probably has never seen anything more dangerous than a cigarette lighter or a kitchen knife and yet they act as if they are some 'gangster'. I've had numerous incidents where skinny little black kids (theres a lot of them where I live) would just talk **** about anyone and everyone they see, I mean come on half of these kids weigh like 100lbs at most, I can literally break them in half if I wanted to. The tamil kids are a bit better than the black ones in the sense that they dont go around trying to rob or talk **** about random people that they see on the street. I find that they much rather keep it to themselves and won't cause a scene unless someone actually does something to them. In comparison, the black kids are just annoying as hell because if they see you wearing a nice watch or have an expensive cell phone they'll try to start some drama and just try to rob you for it. Their mentality is that everyone should be intimidated by them since they are black. :rolleyes:

So I shoved on through and then all I hear is "YO YO, can't you see I'm standin' here?!" I turned right around and charged at them and told them not to stand in front of the fvking class door when people are trying to come through, I though steam was coming out of my nose.
