Eyebrow Pearcing

Im thinking about getting an eyebrow piercing. Ive heard it doesent hurt that much so thats not what im asking. Im just wondering. What do people generally think of it. My style is usually casual, ive got alot of superhero and music t shirts that I usually were with jeans. But sometimes i like to wear some striped dress shirts with jeans. Im just wondering to see how people would react or think about something like this. Will i be classified in any way becuase of this? i have no other peircings. And i'm getting it on the left side. Any thoughts would help

to me it all depends on where you are in life.

My first thoughts when I see it on someone are that they are a person who likes to jump onto the latest fad bandwagons, and that they are insecure and care far too much about what others think of them.

Just giving my honest opinion here. I don't know about the first part, but it seems the OP fits right into the second one, as evidenced by his/her post.

If you are wondering what people think of it and worry about people's reaction, then don't get it. You don't seem to have a strong enough self image to carry any kind of piercing or tatooing.

just joking, just go get the stupid piercing and stop asking for peoples approval. if you don't like it, you can always take it out. But considering the fact that your asking people what they think, then you probably shouldnt get it.

I got mine as a symbol and reminder. I don't care what people think.

You have to ask yourself why you're getting one. Are you getting it just to get some sort of attention? Are you getting it as a fashion accessory? etc...

I don't think people would assume you were gay. Lots of guys and girls have them now. I know a girl who had one, took it out and there is still a little hole/scar. I personally don't like them but I am in my 30s and at 17 I am sure it really doesn't matter what I think!

Well because you are 17 I will say this. If you will be heading out for job interviews it would probably be best to take it out. I'll also say that any piercings other than ears, are not allowed to be worn at my boys highschool. They can't have their tats visable either...

I think facial piercings are ******** as are most of the people who get them. When I see kids on the street with metal crap hanging out of their face I think to myself "another dumbass".

And if you get into a fight you know someone is gonna rip that sucker out...

WHY do you want to get one?
To fit in(with the dumbasses?)
To be different (wont work too many dumbasses already)?
To get attention (if you want people like me thinking you're a dumbass it'll probably work, but why do you care what I think anyway)?

i think decordating your face with weirdly shaped pieces of crap isn't as cool as you think it is. those who do particpate in hanging ornaments off your face try to hard to be unqiue and different, and these usually tend me be punk kids . and i dont mean punk rock kids, i mean loserish kids.
