I am wanting to install this to watch some streams, but couldn't google up any information on the subject.

Does anyone know if the divx webplayer contain spyware?

I read their privacy policy and it states they do collect some infos?

thanks in advanced.

After I made the stupid mistake of installing this thing my pc immediately slowed down and got all glitchly. Then my Norton Antivirus picked up the threat and tried to clean it. It couldn't get rid of it so I tried to do it manually. That was a mistake because it turns out that when you try to do that it takes a bunch of your registry files with it. So I had to completely wipe my laptop and re-install everything.

Whoever made that chunk of spyware is a real a**hole and should be taken out behind a building and beaten.

DO NOT INSTALL!!!

Next time stick with Combined Community Codec Pack: http://cccp-project.net/

I have never had any problem viewing videos using that codec pack, and it is widely recommended.

and no it is not just for anime.

Your computer slowed down cause norton is trash. As for the registry thing that sucks.

Is norton still the same like it used to be, makes your computer run horribly slow still and detects ****?
