Hi, I was wondering what everyone thought about this deal (price and laptop)? Basically, I just need a laptop for school purposes (internet, note-taking, processing, etc) and the occasional tv/movie watching. Is the price alright, or do you think it would go down even further (I won't be needing it until September)? Any help is much appreciated as I do not know much about computers!

ps. the price is in us dollars (I have an american address)

I wouldn't say it's worth it. You can find better now for around the same price (although the dedicated video is nice), the stuff you'll find in September will be much better. Centrino Pro (Santa Rosa) is out, and should be pretty mainstream by August/September, and even if it's not, it should result in a slight Core 2 Duo drop.
