so this year there is a huge amount of sequels including:

- shrek 3
- spiderman 3
- resident evil 3: extinction
- rush hour 3
- harry potter: order of the phoenix
- live free or die hard
- pirates of the caribbean: at world's end
- fantastic 4: rise of the silver surfer
- the bourne ultimatum
- hostel II

(not sure if i'm missing any)

which movies have you been disappointed with? which movies have you liked a lot? which movies are you looking forward to?

personally i've watched shrek 3, spiderman 3, and fantastic 4. none of these 3 movies really caught my eye, but they weren't so bad that i wanted to walk out of the theater. i'm pretty excited about harry potter, since i'm a fan of the movie and novel series, and i still haven't really had a chance to watch pirates which, imo, was probably first on the list of to-see's during this summer :| live free or die hard just looks like a hardcore action movie, i didn't really catch any of the original die hard movies as well, so i'm not really excited about this one.

Add the following 2007 movies to the list:

- Alien vs. Predator 2
- Elizabeth: The Golden Age
- National Treasure: Book of Secrets
- Saw IV
- Mr. Bean's Holiday
- Halloween (more of a re-boot to the franchise but close enough)

And then in 2008, we've already got Star Trek XI and Indiana Jones IV.
