Both items with will be a minor upgrade for my sister's computer
1 GB DDR2 (2x512mb or 1GB)
She needs add one GB of ram... she has a few slots so 512mb stick shouldnt be a problem... what ever is cheaper

Looking for anything cheap that is better than stock cooling...
Something like Freezer Pro

Also looking for a 80GB HDD, can be IDE or sata

Well looking for a case... something for Lan parties, since i needa upgrade my mATX case since i dont go to lan parties anymore since i am hosting, them...

This case is not very a mATX its a ATX extended as mention on the sliverstone page... its cool... its small enough to be carryed around and it fitted my 8800gtx... so its pretty cool... u cna get good air flow with all the fans...

- front USB/ AUDIO/ Fireware all included and hooked up
- 2x 60cm fans will sliencing grills + 160cm fan with vibration cover
- (personal fav) removable trays... hook everything up in the trays before it goes in the case!!

LOL, hi people i am currenty flipping my HTPC to a PC i can use to game.
e4300 retail it come with a brand new stock heat sink and reciept
First is my e4300 this e4300 did 3.0 ghz no problem at stock voltage... my friend did it for me here is the guide that he followed

we figured 3.0 might not be the smartest idea so it was at 2.8ghz the whole time.
The heatsink i used is Nitrogon NT05, this is a good heatsink which has a fan controller, at stock 1.8ghz i can turn it down to the LOW side and its slient which is really good but at over clock i turn it up a bit :P.

The mobo is almost exactly the same as the one in the guild that one was DS3 and this one is S3 this.

Might I suggest a quick buy of a $200 - $300 ready system from futureshop or staples, etc... seems you are looking
for internet only...
and then sell this for $$, if you can't find a trade.
Although, you seem to give some joe a chance to get a decent starting gaming rig and saving them some coin if they
do a trade with you..

Ya the XP cpu's were about the same in performance as the P4's. But the main thing that set them apart, was being able to get a 2500+ xp for the cost of a 2ghz P4. The way it went was, a 2000+ XP would be better in games than a 2ghz intel, but not as good in real world use. But a 2500+ that cost the same as the 2ghz P4 would be better in gaming and real world use.
So, they were not only around par, but incredibly cheap. The 2500+ was also a gem stone for OC. I know a lot of people who got 2.4ghz on it.
However, the Athlon 64 single cores totally RAPED anything intel had to offer in performance and surprisingly, they were still really cheap. Nothing could beat AMD until the C2D was released and now AMD can't get back on track for some reason.
