um, I was just wondering why my posts were deleted? I introduced myself here.

I also offered a reduced price service to someone who needed it and I'm gussing that it was considered spam?

what's the deal? why can't people PM me if there is a problem?

thanks.
Dustin

Please take a moment to read the forum rules (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/announcement.php?f=79&a=12), especially this part:

If you would like to advertise, please send an e-mail to biz@redflagdeals.com for further advertising information.

ok, my first post on here was in the introductory section.

I told about myself, where I live, and about my business.
Is that not what I'm sopposed to do in the intro section of the forum?

Also, I had made a post on this thread (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5330816) where someone was looking for a cheap moving company and someone else had mentioned maybe getting a UHaul.
Was it wrong for my to chime in and say that i could it to them for less? or should I just go on my way and not give people on Red Flag Deals the opportunity to save some money? Isn't that what this site is for? bargain hunting?

Maybe I misunderstand the whole concept of this site and how introducing yourself works. If I did, I apologize.

you can't advertise your business/service on this site unless you are a sponsored poster.

Your intro probably included descriptions to your services that you could provide in your business. Hence that is why it was deleted.

RFD is a bargain hunting site mostly on products with stores. Sounds like you were offering your services for a discount, which is a no no.

Isn't that still happening in Dustin's signature? Sorry Dustin but I have to agree about following the rules here; it isn't a matter of, say, not liking change, more about knowing what works and where to draw the line to make sure things keep on working. It also prevents the kind of services spam that clogs up fora. And there are moving scams (I'm sure you know better than us) where somebody has a truck and you never see your stuff again. RFD likely doesn't want to be associated with that, since when it's a store there is some accountability perhaps.

Isn't that still happening in Dustin's signature? .....

it's been mod'd.

maxaud...do you understand now? Perhaps consider becoming a sponsored poster? I'm sure you could do with the advertising?
