You still have not told what your or your groups interests are? If it is nature, then it is one thing, if it is food, then it is another. You must have chosen Vancouver for a reason?

i'm in a similar situation, will be in Vancouver with my parents from Aug 4-9th.

Will definitely check out the japanese food, heard great things about the tuna.
Will head over to Seattle for the outlet shopping.
Interested in Stanley Park.
