Hi,

I want to rent a car at the buffalo airport drive it to toronto and return it there, and then in a week's time, rent a car again, drive from toronto and return it at the buffalo airport, what would be the cheapest way to do that?

i tried avis/hertz and they quoted 140usd each way, is there a cheaper option?

I'm doing this cuz a flight from bermuda to yyz cost $700, whereas a flight from bermuda to buf only costs $350....

any suggestions are appreciated!

[QUOTE 10km cabfare from BUF to buffalo downtown is under $20 i assume[/QUOTE]

I just took a taxi from BUF to the Greyhound bus station in downtown Buffalo last week for about $26 or $27 US.

I asked the guy who was directing the cabs at the airport how much it should be and he quoted me about that price.

So I don't think the driver gave me the run around.

If I took the transit bus, I wouldn't have made the earliest Coach Canada bus back to Toronto.

I didn't want to wait around at the bus station for another 5 hours for the next one.

If you have time and not a lot of luggage, the Buffalo transit buses aren't a bad choice.

It is only $1.75 US for an express bus to/from the airport.

I paid about $46 CAD for a return ticket from Toronto-Buffalo with Coach Canada.

There is a shuttle that runs from the Holiday Inn in Burlington to the Buffalo airport.
