no, you just need a sense of humour, not a good one but a sense of humour...people laugh at things, it may not seem funny to you but it might be to some people

lmao. i was laughing out loud.! not b/c of the model, but of the news anchor laughing his head off.
models trip all the time. backstage of a fashion show is hectic and more times than not, they don't have proper sized shoes. i hope the poor girl's ok =)

It's not that funny. I'd like to see that old black guy and the fat woman try walking on shoes with heels the size of pins. lol

All that ankle shuffling must have had to break one of her ankles. Ouch.

Maybe that'll stop models from the goofy walk where you put your left foot where your right should be, and vice versa. Walking with your left foot under your RIGHT shoulder may make you bounce and wiggle, but it just looks stupid.
Well... that's appropriate. :|

Actually this story (http://plaza.rakuten.co.jp/img/user/36/01/19553601/14.jpg) occurred during Paris Fashion Week in October 2006, and it turns out the model, Selia Hause, did indeed break her ankle and sadly got such a bad infection during the recovery that they had to amputate her right leg just below the knee. Worse, she was so despondent about the loss of her career, that six weeks after the amputation she committed suicide.
RIP.

I don't get it, is this supposed to be funny? I guess you can't stop children from posting a public board.

Bans for Personal/Group Attacks -NO WARNING-
In recent weeks the general quality of debate in Off-topic has degraded into name calling and personal attacks. This will not continue. In the interest of maintaining a positive environment, we have decided to enforce strict new penalties for those who would rather sling insults than share deals. There will no longer be a warning sent to those who personally attack another member or hurl hate filled messages at groups of people. The penalties for making such an attack either through a post, signature or through the private messaging system are now as follows:
1st Offence: 3 day ban
2nd Offence: 14 day ban
3rd Offence: 30 day ban
4th Offence: Permanent ban
If you are banned, you will be sent an email explaining the ban and duration.
In extreme cases a harsher penalty may be delivered even if it is only a 1st or 2nd offence.
