usually if you don't rec'v the item on the date of the delivery specified in your conf. email, they would call you saying it's OOS and "plz try re-ordering when item is back instock" (course, that won't happen b/c clearance/disco'd items are highly unlikely to have restocks)

if that doesn't happen, try calling them instead,...

I still can't believe that they were clearing these executive desks out for $20 a pop. I got a pine one, and I was impressed with how thick the tabletop actually is. On the bad side, I found that the stain was a little inconsistent in a few places plus there were a couple of dings on the surface, but geez for $20 I am not complaining! It's neat how the center drawer is actually a sliding keyboard tray.

All of my items were noted to be delivered today. The delivery guy showed up very promptly at 09:00 this morning and, in confused manner, handed me the $0.99 filler item and said "they didn't give me the rest, someone should call you." Two calls before 10:00. First to say one of the two microsuede chairs wasn't available and then a second to say that neither of the two microsuede chairs or the 2 door cabinet were available and they'd be refunding me the charges. You win some, you loose some. Surely there's got to be a better way to deal with this though.

that's weird... *usually*, when the item(s) go OOS on you, they still "offer" you to have the remaining items delivered free of charge (if the item(s) removed drops the subtotal to <$50, which of course doesn't qualify for free s/h)

I managed to get the local staples store to price match the web on the southshore desk on Saturday. They did not have any instock, nor did they have them on the internet in my area instock, but the local Sorting plant had 37 so they ordered one in. I got in yesterday, put it together and it's not bad for the money. We were looking for a cheaper desk for a while now and this one is perfect. You can change which way you want the bottom to be, you can have the shelfs on the left or right and the spot for the tower on the left or right as well.

Just finished putting together the first one, the only thing that one could possibly screw up on I did: Make sure the keybaoard slideout is rightside up when pushing it into the desk as it locks into place once you've done so, hehe.

This is the best Staples deal so far this year, just as good as last years Samsung laser for $25.

They look sweet, very good manufacturing, reinforced bolts with recessed nuts and what looks to be nickel plated brass... Very impressive.

It's a bit weak when it massages the back. doesn't seem like it is able to pound deep into your muscles but rather, felt like something that is rolling lightly up and down your back. the bottom part of the massage seems more like a vibrator. It's an avg massage machine but hey, the seat itself is actually quite comfortable
