This is a weak story but it's still interesting to point out that anyone can make it. So for all of you kids, keep on working at it.

Yes anyone can make it. But this also helps too:

This was your other, older brother?
Cook: Yes, my oldest brother, Geoff, and he invested $250,000.

$250K from a brother that already has experience running a website certainly helps getting started. I've never heard of the website, although I am a long way from being in high school.

It's her brother page, he is just using her for publicity, my bet.

Yup.. wouldn't doubt if the "older brother" owns the company, or a huge chunk of it, gives his younger siblings a paycheque and uses them for publicity ;)

With a $250k investment.. you can do quite a bit and not everyone has access to that kind of capital.

just as important as the $250k that the brother invested was his expertise in starting and promoting websites, as well as his contacts in india and in the US.

not every teen has the luxery of this awesome combination.

Yeah, this is stupid. So basically the only contribution she made was the idea. Then from there her brother financed the whole project and had all the work done in india. Wow.... inspiring.
