photos etched in glass?

I swore there was a photography forum, guess not.
I'm looking to get a wedding photo etched in glass, I remember seeing a store that offered this service but as of now cannot remember, does anyone know where it can be done? and typically the price?

They will etch anything you want into plexi. Less chance of it breaking if it's dropped.

I've seen it too at Pacific Mall, don't know cost or if they still do it. I think they do.

Yes. they engrave your picture onto a piece of glass thats about the size of a 5x7 picture frame (or possibly larger).
They can also have your picture heat pressed in color onto a piece of glass.

I visited Heritage Town on the 2nd floor of Pacific Mall to get a photograph engraved in glass. There were actually 2 stores that deal with photo framing nicknacks but only ONE of them offers engraving/etching photos in glass...

there's a guy at my work in Cambridge that does this on the side, right now he's doing a bunch of shot glasses for a wedding. he has some type of sandblaster and special printer that he uses on the glass
