I am in the market for a case w/PSU on a budget of $150. I have narrowed down my choice to the following two options. Anyone had experience with either one of them and is there a better 3rd option out there within the price range. Thanks for your input.

1. Ultra Grid + Ultra XVS-Series 700W PSU ($110)

2. Antec Sonata III 500W PSU ($119)

The Ultra looks horrible IMO, the PSU has a nice 40A 12V rail, but I haven't seen any reviews on it though. Modular is nice too. This PSU is probably overkill, but if you really need a solid and powerful PSU you should buy PSU and case separatly.

The Antec has a little weaker 12V rail, 17A on each so 34A total, but depending on your build it's probably enough. Also, the EarthWatt has Active PFC and is 80PLUS certified so it saves you some money on your electricity bill. The Sonata cases are really nice, quiet, look great. Cooling isn't it's strongest point though, but that's not what this case has been designed for.

So yeah, in that price range, the Antec is a good choice IMO.

Sonata. Better power supply.
