If you want to use your own ringtones all you need is your computer. You do not need to unlock the phone to use your own ringtones. Is that why you want to unlock it? or do you want to use it on Rogers Service?

OP wants to Unlock it AND use custom ringtones, NOT unlock it TO use Custom Ringtones. Go to Pacific Mall, any of the 28 cellphone retailers in that mall can help u. also try China Town, first markham place, and eaton centre

....any of the 28 cellphone retailers in that mall ...

hehe....do I detect a hint of sarcasmhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/petawawa/smilies/lol.gif ;), I knew there were many in there...but 28? I really need to make a trip to that place one of these times I'm in Tdot.

To OP., just to clarify (because there's a bit of doubt surrounding your intents here). You have a FIDO Locked phone which you want to use on Rogers (AND enable mp3 ringtone compatibility?). I ask because nowhere do you mention Rogers, so I'm almost thinking you just want to enable ringtones, and are under the assumption you need to unlock it to do that...though you do say 'unbranding'...so...:(. Just clarify please .

Anyway, support your RFDers in the Cellphone Subforum. Few *COUGH actually offer unlocking.
