I have never used a protector until recently. I purchased a $10 screen protector for my N73.

I think they are worth while. I do have a bubble on my screen, I am not sure if that is by design so that it can be removed easily.

But for a cell phone, it might be easier to just leave it as is and replace the case when you need a new screen.

I use invisishield for my s621. No bubbles. Dream come true.

No.
I have a flip phone that is protected and secured within a pocket in my purse.

I go naked with a cell phone, since I make sure I don't put anything else in the pocket I have my cell in.

I also went naked with my iPod, although I might get a clear film protector for the chrome back when I get my iPod touch. :cheesygri

Majority of the time I have my cell phone in one of those universal clamshell phone case. I have a iPod nano (not the new generation) and I just use the sleeve it came with. Sometimes I let my phone go naked but I still have the screen protector plastic that comes from the manufacture on the phone.

no protectors except for the screen protector for PDA/Camera

cases make your handheld bulky and negates the small-ness of the original size

I buy sheets of bestskinsever (http://www.bestskinsever.com/servlet/the-DIY-Custom-Skins/Categories) and cut them myself for whatever gear that needs protection.

Don't use a case for my iRiver clix2 since it's got a full body skin, but my Asus P535 goes into one of these (well except mine isn't "salmon pink")

I don't use protectors on my cell phone.

When it gets scratched up sufficiently, I just rebuild the whole thing using a brand new OEM housing.
