My daughter is turning 4, and she really loves music. It suddenly occurred to me that I could get her her own CD player, and then she wouldn't have to keep on asking me to play music from the Drowsy Chaperone and Beach Boys for her.

Does anyone have any suggestions for an inexpensive and appropriate CD player for her? Her birthday's soon, so can't do shipping, and I'm busy all this week and don't have a lot of time to shop. We have in town:
Costco, Bay, Sears, Zellers, Canadian Tire, Walmart, Future Shop, Sight and Sound, the Source - some other places, but those would be the ones that come to mind who may have something.

Any ideas or suggestions welcome, and thanks for your time!

I got my 4 year old daughter a Dora The Explorer Boombox at Toys R Us last year for $24.99. Radio, tape and CD player. The sound isn't the greatest but she seems to love it!!

We found a clock radio at Walmart for under $30, it doesn't have casette, but most of her music is CD anyways. It also sets to CD to wake up to. It is quite sturdy as well.
