I have started iHateBadService.ca (http://iHateBadService.ca) a month ago and thanks to everyone who replied my post on "How to promote a local website", my site starts gaining some traffics.

My goal was to create an open community for unsatisfied consumers to anonymously share their stories in bad services. So far I have received about 1 story per day, which was what I expected, so I am happy at the moment.

But I would really appreciated if anyone can throw in their two cents on improvement of the following:

1) User interface / Navigation
2) How to get more traffics
3) How to get more people to share their stories
4) Any other feedbacks are welcome

Thank you very much !

Andy

I think it is important to define the right sector that you people to comment and make suggestion to bad services.

Do you want to visitors to response in relates to retail bad experience ? restaurant bad experience ? vacation bad experience ?

i know its good to cover the grounds of all sectors, but maximizing the field that would you feel would have the most discussion is something that could drive in the initial traffic to your site.

hope it helps ! all the best to you.

Andy,

Integra brings up some good points. I'd personally recommend 'segmenting' the site into sections, e.g. restaurants.ihatebadservice.ca

That way you can 'target' your traffic a bit more with some keywords rather than having it all haphazard. It will help quite a bit :)
