It's weird how this model is so old but yet it's still this price... I remember buying this remote brand new off this guy for $75 2 years ago, and when I upgraded to the 880, I sold the 520 for $70 easily. It's almost like this remote never depriciates in value...

What is the difference between this and the 550? I have the 550, which has served me well so far...

Great article on the difference between both units. I have the 520 and I really enjoy using the remote. But just be sure to purchase some rechargeable batteries because this unit really drains batteries quickly. I find the rayovac hybrids to work really well and hold their charge for a long time. There are a few quirky things with the web interface but overall as their support is fabulous and the software has improved over earlier versions.

Good remote, but I'm still not a fan of the channel/volume button design.

The 520 has been at $69 for at least a week now (see: http://www.redflagdeals.com/deals/main.php/alldeals/comments/dell_accessories_harmony_670_remote_w_4_eneloop_ba tteries_99_and_more), so it might not be at this price for too much longer.
It's a shame that only the 670 is being bundled with Eneloop batteries though. I'm still holding out for a lower end model that includes the Eneloops.
