I have so many icons on my desktop at the moment, some are programs, some are folders, some are media files.

Is there any program that I can divide windows desktop into different sections, so i can lock them where it belong.
when i switch between my primary screen on my computer, those icons are messing up each time.

Like i want to media file on the lower-left corner of the screen and program files at the top right corner of the screen.

Or you can just organized your stuff in a more efficient manner (i.e. not putting folders and videos on the desktop).

I don't use any programs, it can all be done with xp. I usually have my programs down one side, my different drives and folders along the top (I've got 6 hard drives), my virus/spyware, etc. down the other side, etc.

Get a second screen
That's just a band-aid solution. The solution is not to increase screen real estate so you can put more garbage on the desktop. The solution is to organize your stuff in a way so that cluttering doesn't occur.

I use Object Dock. I know it takes up resources and is mostly eye candy, but it keeps my desktop clean.
I do have quite a few icons on the desktop now, but usually I try to keep it totally clean.
