according to the website, it's only for the Black/Gold colour, but I went to Bay/Dundas BB and have them scanned one of the Pink/White one, it shows same price $24.99
does anyone know if this headphones any good - fair for the price?
will it be better than my new iPod touch's earbud ?
thanks.

According to the reviews I read, the bass isn't too good, but the sound quality is apparently loud and clear. Some people say that they aren't that comfortable, but most reviews say they are. For that price (or in my case, $22.49 :) ) I don't think you can go wrong really.

Considering pack-in earbuds are always complete shab, they are probably better. But I wouldn't expect too much.

They'd be hard-pressed to sound worse than the stock Apple earbuds, but if you're waiting on a touch, you might want to wait 'til you get it to check the fit of the plug. If the touch is like my iPhone, the headphone jack is recessed, and the recess is a smaller diameter than most plugs out there. I bought some Creative Zens for my nano when BB had them on a couple months back, and without whittling down the plug (or using one of the adapters like the Belkin (http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=374491)), they don't fit the iPhone.

Yeah, just about anything will sound better than the stock iBuds. Based on some quick reading over at head-fi.org, the Skullcandy 'phones aren't bad. Personally, I'd just go buy some Koss KSC-75's though.

I got it already, I just need to know if it's worth it to open it.
sounds like it's ok.. I mean better than the stock iPod's buds...
will it fit the Touch... well.. I'd do some research again or the worse case is to get that belkin thingy ....

Hop over to http://www.head-fi.org/ and search for Skullcandy. I own a pair of KSC-75's and recently picked up some AKG K 81 DJs. The KSC-75's are pretty much on par with the AKGs(which cost about 50$ more) but don't provide the isolation that the AKGs do.
Can't seem to find the KSC-75's on sale anywhere but DirectCanada has them for $16.32 anyway. http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=23220AC1972&vpn=5424-SC75&manufacture=KOSS

You can return it even if it's opened.
Also, I too think they don't work for the iPhone...

wow looks like a good deal.
I'm just curious though, where's a good place in the U.S. to buy some brand name headphones i.e., sony, skullcandy, or sennheisers?

true.. tried them both on the iPod touch and my friend's iPhone.. it doesn't work -- need that belkin thingy I guess. but I'm keeping it since it does sound much better than the stock buds from apple.
this one going to serve as my home headphones which mean I still have to look for my buds replacement - time to digg more on the Koss AKG.. :-) .

bass?... I'd say don't expect too much...
imo it only good for people coming from stock earbuds and not willing to pay too much -- but then again look at other post about the Koss KSC-75 from directcanada.

There are a few reputable sellers on eBay that sell them for about $16 including shipping; that's where I got mine.

These seem pretty tempting, too bad I picked up a set of Skullcandy Hesh's from FutureShop for $15 the other day (clearance table). They were even BNIB, completely sealed, and the packaging was of perfect condition. Talk about score!!!!! Still might pick the Lowrider's up, though....

Only those in pink were left in BB so I went to FS and price-matched them. They have a bigger color selection.

great packaging, stylish look. but build quality and performance isn't there. I'm almost weary of ever buying earphones off bb/fs/stooples because they seem to only stock up stuff that they have great profit margins over quality. I bought plantronics from fs a while back but has broken down. that one served me well. had great bass range.

Headroom: http://www.headphone.com/ has some excellent prices and a wide selection. They have a lot of sales, the "savings codes" are usually the name of the headphone(ex. for the Sennheiser HD 555, the code is HD555, which dropped the price to 109.99). J&R has a decent selection too.

I'm afraid it's the Lowrider (http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0926INGFS10088903&catid=21272) instead of the SC-Low.

no worries bb fixed it
temp website problem im guessing
the same sc-low and lowrider headphones are both on sale
http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0926INGFS10089004&catid=21272
skullcandy also categorizes it as LOW RIDER for both
i think bb and futureshop just input it as different names on the website when actually its the same thing

I bougtt a blue skullcandy lowrider headphone and I was a bit disappointed. Not that the quality isn't good, it's great quality, but if you want more bass sound, don't buy them. Another con is that they fall off.....so easily!
I currently have them as an "extra pair", but I use my fender headphones at home. I got these headphones free with the purchase of a fender guitar. My fender headphones have THE best bass sound I have ever heard from a headphone without any additional bass booster device.
Yeah, I would recommend them.
But don't expect too much!
