Great over the top drama but some how people can relate to.

The Tudors on CBC is alright, filling in the gap left by Rome (sort of).

One of the best new shows on TV: Pushing Daisies.
Synosis: as a young boy Ned realizes he can bring back the dead by just touching them. If he touches them a second time, the body dies permanantly. If he doesn't touch them again within a minute, someone else within the vicinity must die. As an adult, Ned uses this gift to solve murder mysteries. Through a series of events, one of myseries he tries to solve is that of his childhood sweetheart. he brings her back to life only to decide he doesn't want her to die so he doesn't touch her. So the two principal characters are in love, but they can never touch without dire consequences. The show is a mixture of romance, mystery, drama, fantasy and comedy all shot in a very Edward Scissorhands kind of backdrop with a voice over a la Dr. Suess. Tuesday at 8 on CTV and Wedneday at 8 on ABC

Don't know why no one mentioned scrubs. I recently purchased season 1-5 and it's freakin' hilarious. Good mix with the drama too - it can change very suddenly but the actors all handle it very well.
