Either a sleeve where I can put it in my backpack or a messenger type bag where I can put my laptop and books in. 14.1" screen HP.
Open to any suggestions. Thanks!

The case I bought is serving me very well.

You can also buy them off eBay for slightly cheaper I think. That's where I got mine.

bestbuy actually has a fairly large assortment of cases available in store (and online).
Although as far as I can see none seem to be custom suited for 14.1" laptops... although I'm sure the 15" sleeve would do fine (albeit perhaps not fit as snugly / take up more space in your bag).
On thing I would suggest to avoid is a laptop bag that looks a lot like a laptop bag - especially black targus/samsonite bags. These are great in terms of protecting your laptop from damage but they badly advertise that you have a laptop worth protecting. Sleeves, packsacks, or stylish bags are what I would recommend.

I bought a memory foam cover from isiscovers.com. Like one of the above posters, I bought it cheaper on ebay. I like them because they fit great and have some funkier designs than the plain boring ones they have at most places.
