This guy sold the K850i from Nov.25.2007 ............ Today when i try to take the picture from fone, the lens cover can't work properly then i call this guy to ask about what is going on. He says that "i need to do the firmware upgrade for the camera." He must be kidding. After that, I does ask him and never get any reply back. So everybody pls don't trust this seller. thk.

EDIT:
So, being the nice guy that I am, I researched this lady's issue and apparently it has happened to others.
http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/Sony-Ericsson-K850-Review-review-r_1846-p_5.html
It didn't happen to me during the 30 hours that I had it.
I dunno, maybe she dropped it or had sex with it, I dunno
Either way, contact Sony, but like I said, I used the camera, worked flawlessly for me, sent MMS, facebook pics and what not.
Good luck.
Like I said, trying to help, sorry that I work at nights and couldn't be assisting you at my place of business, like I told you I was.

I am providing support. What else could you possibly want from a CLASSIFIED SALE, I am not future shop lady, I do not have my own return policy.
Lady you sent me text messages from the Rogers 2 way text message website, I returned, I am sorry you don't know how to use your electronic devices properly, hence the phone.
in re. to your edited first post.
I tried to give you suggestions.
Like I said the camera worked 100 percent fine with me, I have pictures to prove it.
I was trying to be kind until you blew up online.

I deal with Faibs before, and I got no problems with the phone he sold me, he was very friendly and easy to deal with. As for the phone, its not really his fault since its really SE's own software problem and he didn't exprienced it before he sold the phone to you, maybe next time buying a phone should do more research first, especially the just released models. ;)

I believe the seller has been providing the necessary assistance
so the responsibility should not be fully on the seller
however, if faibs has the pictures to prove that all of the phone's features functioned as intended then please post them up or PM me with them
Thank you
in the meanwhile, please refrain from posting in each other's threads other than this one

Seller's response seems pretty reasonable to me. It is true that SE's phones can be pretty buggy @ launch. Sometimes it takes them a couple firmware updates to get the basic right.
Buyer can consider visiting Hofo or Esato if you need further technical support.

Why not simply state ( buyer ) what you need to make the transaction worth it by working with the seller so you are both happy. Maybe a PM with some help with the firmware installation ? This bantering is childish and not needed on the forum .:)

Try writing coherent English in response to the seller. He comes across as making sense, whereas you sound like a whiny, illiterate 12 year old. If you expect to be taken seriously both by future sellers (who, if responsible, will be searching for your previous deals) and by the moderators here on RFD try acting like an adult.
I'm not trying to pick on you, but people who act like you are at the moment are a big part of the reason it can be so hard to convince people to ship their items. I don't live in Toronto, so this can get annoying.
Grow up!

Some people are from foreign countries hence their inability to communicate well English. From what I can tell and my past PM's exchanged with chip'n'dale, this is my opinion. It isn't because she wants to convey her thoughts like a 12 year old. I'm sure if she spoke in her native language we wouldn't get that idea, so I think telling people to "grow up" is already immature on your part.
Although I do agree that professionalism is key when doing shipping deals, you just have to trust your gut and do background research. Some scammers can be just as convincing, and that's what gets them the free $.
Come to think of it, chip'n'dale, you should do your own research on the phone before buying it. We all know the K850i is riddled with firmware bugs so you ought to do a bit of digging before literally complaining to faibs forcing him to feed you a solution. You really remind me of a "Sponsored Poster" here who isn't quite the model seller, she's also a woman, Chinese... but I won't disclose her nickname on these boards.

Aren't there rules against posting things like this?
I could understand if the seller did nothing and did not answer calls/emails and completely ignored the person but they obviously did everything in there power to help them out.
This is RFD. You are buying a product at your own risk whether it is brand new or used. If the product is brand new/sealed it is not the sellers fault if it does not work.
I think this issue should be reviewed by a moderator and the negative feedback removed.

not sure where I stand on this one....
I absolutely agree that faibs did nothing wrong in this transaction, and honestly was more helpful than a seller needs to be, especially considering that he helped out after his character was attacked....so good job to faibs
at the same time, feedback is to reflect one perception about a given transaction, so if chip'ndale7276 feels that this transaction deserves a negative, it is her decision on what feedback is given as only she and faibs participated in this transaction...chip'ndale7276's feedback is to reflect her view on the transaction., which may or may not be correct.

OK so yea never trust this seller and her boyfriend. I saw these threads and so on about how she cna't be trusted, but i ignored all that (Stupid) and went a head to buy a red w910i from her. Well i met up with her boyfriend and the phone was in perfect condition and came with everything except the red headset that i was suppose to get. He said he will bring it on friday at 1pm because it would be the best time for both of us. The last few days these 2 couples had been stalling and being a ***** about this. NO one should trust this seller.

You should leave a negative feedback so others are aware before dealing with them.

if the people who read the title read the thread, then they will see the matter was handled by you as best you could.
But I find it hard to believe you werent aware of the problems with the phone. I think you knew the phone was faulty and decided to sell it. Thats really shady in my opinion and I hope this thread stays open so more people can read it and judge for themselves.

Hey Alvito
I don't like intervening, but without being aware of the situation you assumed a conclusion. EVEN IF (Faibs I'm not saying you did) Faibs knew it was defective, just from what has been said in the thread, how would you know?
I've spoken to Faibs a couple times, and from all his support to the buyer, we can tell he's willing to help out with the problems. Also, owning the phone for 1 day does not = he knows the phone inside out. Of the 45 cell phones I've had, and even the new P1 I just got, it takes at least a week, even for a phone freak like me to get to know my phone entirely, figuring out all the bugs, which in this case, is a bug on the phone's software as far as I'm aware. Software issues are not predictable, unlike physical damage, where you can obviously tell. Even if the cover doesnt close is a physical issue, it might not necessarily take place right when the first user uses it.
I don't think you should make any assumptions. Especially when you have no solid proof.. Shady...

Well to be honest, both parties seem shady to me, when a seller says "used for only a few hours" on BST, I take that as used for a few days, if you trust everything a person says you're gonna get scammed, not saying thats what happened here, but I have a feeling that people are biased towards faibs since his english is more comprehensible.

do you know me personally?
do you know how I handle phones?
Do you know what I like and dislike?
heck, have you even sent me a PM?

As I said in my post "not saying that is what happened here" and not to pass judgement on your character, as you are completely right that I don't know you, I've never met with you and never dealt with you before. So I apologize if you took any offence to my post, I'm just saying that people DO lie, and I've bought stuff off people where what they have said turns out to be false...
Some say 8.5/10 when its obviously not an 8.5/10, and some honest people say 7.5/10 and to you its much better than that... as you can see from my feedback, I do frequently deal with many users.
And I do believe that some people will give you the benefit of the doubt because of the way that chipndale writes, and the fact that she can't explain her case as well as you. This doesn't make her right in any way, just disadvantaged.
Anyways, I just thoguht I'd share my opinion (for a thread that I have been reading fully), and again didn't mean to offend you, just wanted to offer my comments, if you bash everything in this thread thats 'somewhat' negative towards you, it doesn't look very good for you.
