If you have any food deals to share, please let me know!
I'll start off with one!
-Joey's burgers, 17th ave sw, single burger combo, with fries or onion rings (xtra .20) and med pop or small milk shake (xtra .20) for under 5 bucks with the tax. A full meal, too.

Lloyds Carribean Bakery (might be called Dutchies now)
Across Memorial from Marlborough. Can get a couple jamaican meat or chicken patties (plus I highly reccomend the cocoa bread to go with them) for cheap.. Think they are 1.50 each. Make great lunches.

Well pasta night at Cianti is always good.. $5.99 (or was it $4.99?) for a plate of pasta on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights.
Added: If you're into seafood, Classic Jacks on 17th Ave has a pound of fresh mussels for $5.99 on Friday nights.

Crowchild Ramada - first friday of every month has a "stuff your face with clam, mussels, lobsters, crabs, shrimp" for $30 clam..err, dollars.
Make reservations, go early!
Edit: It's buffet style.. Last time I went with my gf, we got there late, around 8pm.. and they ran outta shrimp and lobster shortly after.

Is it buffet style or can you order the plate individually and choose how you want it cooked?

I'm changing this into a Calgary wing nite thread, there's a Sports Pub on McLeod and Southland (it's upstairs in the plaza King of Wings is on the door) they have $0.15 wings on Tuesday, they are good quality. Also Shanks has $0.15 wings on Wednesday and I would rate them the best discount wing in the city and Woody's is 10 cents on Wednesday I think- anyone else have anything?

Red Robin has $0.29 wings everyday except Saturday after 4pm I believe, this follows the Walmart everyday low pricing theory, these are decent quality as well.

Rico, do you get all that bumping from calgarypuck?
Reagal Beagel has wing nite monday, wednesday, friday.
Diner Delux has no corkage fee on Tuedays I think so you can bring your own wine.
Soba Ten has a great happy hour everyday where you get your beer for $3 and a free roll of sushi. Good place for after work beers.
The saddledome has happy hour prices in the bars up to 30 minutes to game time.

Screw wings. Go to the spicy hut... its so damn good. Its not cheap and sure beats the hell out of patties. I say its not cheap but its def not expensive, and its loaded with value. Its the kind of place you wouldn't probably go in to unless you got a recomendation. It gets a hot tag because it really is spicy!
Blurb:
Just minutes out of the downtown core, this Asian gem has gained a large and loyal following. The Spicy Hut serves a wide variety of interesting Chinese fare including seafood, soups and sizzling hotplates. A family-owned establishment, it has been a part of the local restaurant scene for quite some time. They specialize in Thai and Peking cuisine but offer many other dishes including traditional Chinese fare and seafood and vegetarian choices. You can order from the very spicy to the mildly aromatic. Parking is available just outside the restaurant.

Banzai in the mall on the intersection of southland/macleod has rice bowls for around 5 bucks and they are very filling. I can't usually finish mine. They have like tempura, chicken teriyaki, etc..
It is also nice inside. You order at the counter, but they have booths and its more like a restaurant when u sit down.

Hey everyone,
The best place I've found for finding all of the best meal deals in Calgary is ThisCity.com (http://www.thiscity.com)They have a 'Daily Specials Guide' in their Food & Drink section which tells you who has cheap wings, cheap beer, etc. on any day of the week. You can click the 'Wing's Only' button to limit the results to places with wings.
The rest of the website is pretty wicked too. Lots of events.
Hope that helps. Happy bargain hunting!

LOL, why did you bump this 1 1/2 year old thread? For your first post too? Promoting your website or something?

A great wings special website that's local to calgary is:
www.hotwings.ca
It will tell you ALL the places in calgary that have wing nights everyday of the week.
With that in mind, I gotta say Limericks for wings on Monday nights.

Yes actually, I must admit that I was promoting my own site with that post. It was however, highly relevant to the topic being discussed so I thought all you bargain hunters should know about it.
As far as I know, there is no other website in Calgary that has a Daily Specials guide. Yes, hotwings.ca is a great site for wing specials, however it it limited to that effect. ThisCity.com has wings + everything else.
