Hey there, not sure where to put this, so here goes:
I'm looking for an ENT specialist in Mississauga. I have had chronic ear infections all my life, and have some slight hearing loss in one ear because of it. Right now, I've got an ear filled with fluid that won't drain and just saw an ENT in Scarborough (where I work). The only problem is he recommends surgery (tubes in my ears) and it would be a major pain to get a ride all the way out here and back after the surgery. First off, I'd like to get a second opinion. Second, I'd like to see if I can get the fluid drained, as I am a musician and need my hearing. (I've had it done before, and don't really want it done again, but I also don't want to go deaf.) Third - if it does come to surgery, I'd need it done closer to home. I'm sure I can get my doctor to take care of the referral based on my situation.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
