Does anyone here currently use a Samsung LCD with a Rogers HD Box? Trying to figure out what would be the best way to hook it up, from what I can tell with HDMI the Samsung doesn't accept 480i signals for SDTV, I could use component but then the GUI looks fuzzy. Any suggestions? I currently have a Pace box.

Im using components with my HDPVR and my Samsung...no issues here..haven't tried HDMI yet.....I doubt HD will get any better with HDMI over components.....

i have a samsung and the rogers box but it seems like most of the HD program doesn't look that great. Do i have to change the settings of my tv or is it because i'm sitting too close....i have a 46inch tv and sit about 8-9 feet away from the tv

I'm using HDMI (for convenience sake really), on my 26" Samsung LCD (720p). Works great, no problems, other than you need to turn the TV on first then the box, but w/e.

I have tried the Rogers 3250 and Pace boxes with a 4661 and there weren't any problems at all. The menus look fine and I try to avoid sd programs.

I have Rogers 3250 and Sony 32" connected through Component.

Take a look at www.digitalhome.ca forums... More specifically, this thread:

or this forum:

Also, my box's remote is setup for both the box and TV. When I use CBL on remote and press power, it powers up both the box and the TV.
