The best valentines day I've ever experienced was a few years ago with my boyfriend at the time. He worked in a hotel as a pool attendant and both of us were poor students at the time, so I figured we'd just spend the night together watching some sappy girly movie and call it a day that valentines day.
The day before, he asked if I could come pick him up from work on valentines day night. I showed up on valentines night at the front desk and the lady that worked there told me that he was busy in one of the rooms, that I could go meet him there. So she gave me a key, and off I went. I didn't bother knocking on the door since I had a key, and I swung the door open and BAM! There were rose petals all over the room, a nice big bubble bath, champagne and two glasses, a beautiful supper all waiting for me, and of course the boyfriend!
We had supper that night, had a great bubble bath together with champagne, then he told me he had a suprise. He put a blindfold over my eyes and opened the door and off we went. He wouldn't tell me where we were going, and by this time it was around midnight and all of the staff were gone and the guests in bed. We stopped, he took off my blindfold and we were standing infront of the huge hot tub that was filled with floating red heart shaped candles with a bunch of huge red pillar candles around the hot tub! There was another bottle of champagne and two glasses! Since it was so late we had the whole place to ourselves, it was amazing! We wanted to leave a little reminder of this perfect day, so we left a champagne glass ontop of this light that no one would ever see, and it is still there to this day!
We wrapped up in towels and decided to take the short way back to the room, just a quick run outside. We get outside and no sooner did the door close did we realise we left the keys in our room! So off we go on a sprint in our towels sopping wet to the front desk which was unfortunately on the other side of the building to get some keys. By the time we made it back to our room we were frozen so we decided to jump into another bubble bath, with some warmed up leftovers from supper, yum! All in all, best valentines day ever, coldest too! :cheesygri
