I was asking about their pricing for Roses during Valentines today and the person there handed me a flyer that listed them for 29.99 for a dozen. I assume this is the nationwide since it was printed on a flyer... but I can't find a copy of the flyer anywhere else.
I think these go for 45.00 for HALF a dozen at a flowershop, but then again they might package them nicer in a bouquet.

In my experience Lobalws Roses die a lot faster than average. Especially during Valentines.

I was just at Costco earlier this evening (GTA)- 2 dozen long stem for $16.99. I'm hoping they still have some on the 14th! Yes, I said 2 dozen, that's 24 roses. I wouldn't waste my money at any Grocery store or even worse, flower shop!

who cares? they're flowers, they're meant as a short term showoff for the woman to show her friends/co-workers... they do not need to last a month.

Chivalry is well and alive!
Try buying them because she likes them, and not because you have to.
If your other half has not come back to you with thanks (and feedback) for
past flowers, I can only conclude that you MUST be single.

Well, this saves a great deal of money and allows me to make my own arrangement instead of paying someone else to do it for me.

actually on the contrary, I've been with my wife for almost 10 years and married for 3... she's got the same opinion on flowers as me, the cheaper the better, they're just gonna die anyways.

Safeway actually has a wonderful floral department and I'd recommend them for all your floral needs.

Hey guys! You might want to check this deal - http://www.bloomsnroses.com/site/index.cfm. I ordered some flowers to be delivered to my gf's place on Valentines day.

You can always go to Zehrs/Superstore/Loblaws and buy some flowers for $14.99. They are okay, but definitely not for Valentines Day. The website above offers a pretty good deal, at least that's the cheapest deal I found - 40% off + free delivery. However, be aware that there is a service fee - around $6.5-7 (don't remember exactly). I guess this "service fee" is the actual payment for delivery.
Hopefully this helps.
Cheers!

I was at Costco (Richmond, BC) on the weekend. $17.99 for a dozen of roses. Not the best looking flowers, but can't expect too much for that price, especially this time of the year.

$17.99 Dozen in Winnipeg last night. The roses looked great with Baby's Breath included.

Anyone looking to buy flowers for V-Day (crazy if you do... waste of money) Costco has the best deal around. Reg$19 2 dozen roses, but for V-Day it's $19 for 1 dozen. if you must buy flowers then i would highly recommend Costco. I guess i'm lucky, my wife would kill me if i came home with roses for V-Day LOL
