Have some friends that are, I dont know, I guess selling this stuff, or the opportunity, etc.

Sounds to good to be true if you ask me, anyone else ever approached with this stuff.

Looks to me like an invitation to a leveraged investment into a company not required to fully disclose its financial statements due to being a private entity.

I'd rather deal with publicly traded companies for my Smith Manoeuvre implementation because I like greater transparency when lending out my money.

This one is basically, heres all my RRSP money, do with it what you will. And at the end i get all the money back, guaranteed, plus the payouts while that happens.

Nothings guaranteed now a days.

Why not read one of their newsletters?
Newsletter (http://www.heir.ca/downloads/newsletters/2007/10.01.07.pdf)

Smells like a scam. Reminds me of Tri-West Investment Club (Google them).

Must be how some reps do it. Im embarrassed to go out with my friend. all he does is talk to people about it, trying to get them to go into it.

I wouldnt want to be one of those guys..."Oh god, here somes Fred, probably try to sell me something again" and then people try to avoid you

Not sure. last year it was FHTM (Fortune marketing) I got caught up in it, and lost $400. lesson learned.

WE cant even go out for a beer without him bringing it up, or talking to people about it
