6 monitors from one computer

Has anyone tried to hook up 6 monitors to one computer? I want to setup a display with 6 monitors, and it seems foolish to have 6 different computers running (one for each)
Any advice would be appreciated.

Asus branded x3870 X2 (has quad monitor support) and then pickup another dual display care and you should be set.

If 2D is your cup of tea, one PCI card can handle 4 ... http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/finent/products/mms/g450quad.php

I suppose this can be used in addition to the dual display from the main video card to make it 6 in total.

Get a couple of ATI FireMV (http://ati.amd.com/products/firemvseries/index.html) video cards. They're around $400-450 for the 4 monitor card, and $140-170 for the 2 monitor card.
