So for the Piano Black you pay $10 more than local cost and get a RANDOM game that they won't even tell you about?

Pass.

I'll get the GOW pack at RCSS on TAX Free weekends.

The $179.99 for the piano black solo (the one I want) makes no sense when you get a game, the Family Guy UMD, and a 1 GB memory stick for just $20 more. That's the dumbest price point ever - and it's $169.99 across the board everywhere else.

It's almost like they don't want to sell them...

Sonystyle and SONY stores piss me off...you would think that they would be competitive with their prices and really showcase their stuff.

Went into one yesterday (killing time at the mall)...PS3 stuck due to an incomplete FW update, NO organisation to their software and very limited supply AND the games were prices more than MSRP! Patapon, advertised by SONY on their Playstation.ca site as MSRP 19.99 and Sony Store is selling it for $22.99

Bought my PS3 on no tax RCSS weekend and plan to do the same for the GOW PSP

yep... ^ i think one of the reasons no RFDer shops there.

however, they've had OK clearance deals at times.

i got my FFXI 40GB HDD there for $50 on clearance before, and also Sony blank dvds (MIJ) for some ~$8-10 like 2-3 yrs ago (at that time was a good deal)...

I would expect an "official" store to sell at higher prices than distributors, mainly because of the name. The Nike store is always pricier than Nike products at Sears, no?
