A great loss for the music industry and for his family. I remember back around 1988 when his hit song "Angel Eyes" was being played all the time on the radio.
That's the song that really made him a household name.

So sad to have your life cut short at such a young age. I saw him perform a live a few times and always enjoyed his dry sense of humor.

I like him. I like him a lot growing up. Setting aside the Roadhouse jokes, he's a great musician.

I think TVO used to play 10 minute profiles on young people with disabilities and a very young Jeff was playing at his cottage. Does anyone remember this? Dude's been around forever...but now he's gone.

Yeah, I like him.

He seemed to take his disability (or ability) in stride and didn't let it hold him down. He has accomplished much in his life and can easily be proud of. RIP JH.

Huge loss for the music industry...the man was truly inspirational, to see someone play guitar like that, and so well...

Listening to Confidence Man and See the Light brings back nice memories. Can't believe it's been almost 20 years since his that first album.

RIP and thanks for the musical legacy you've left for us...
