Don’t find your favorite internet station on the list? Just submit the station to the website and it will be researched and added to the list, available for all of the current 14,000+ subscribers!

Don’t have a computer? Not a problem with the WFR-20. It still provides you access to the same internet radio stations and is designed to work as a completely independent stand alone unit anywhere in your home, office or dorm. All you need is a broadband internet connection and a wired or wireless router.

Used in conjunction with your wired/wireless networked computer and Windows™ Media Player™ you have full access to your digital media library using the UPnP Server, or simply your Microsoft™ Shared File Folder function in MP3, AAC, WMA, FLAC, Real Media™, and AIFF formats*.

*File formats utilizing DRM (Digital Rights Management) protection or other copy-protection features may not be supported. Use of a UPnP server may increase compatibility, but is not a guarantee.

Sangean WFR-20 a WiFi Internet Radio based on the RecivaTM module it gives you computer-less access to a dynamic database of over 6,000 live internet stations over 20,000 on-demand audio streams and your digital media stored on either your computer or a UPnP enabled NAS.

The Reciva database is also growing and allows customers to submit their favorite stations if they are not already on the list as well as adding pod-casts and other personal streams. This dynamic subscriber based listing the list will continue to grow, and with the ability to upgrade the firmware consumers can expect a long life and use out of these radios.”

In addition to the features brought by using the Reciva module for the brains, the WFR-20 also introduces a combination of features not found in any of the other WiFi Internet Radios, such as an 10/100 RJ-45 LAN connection, stereo speakers and remote control.
