Downtown Edmonton Homeoutfitters is closing down and have to move out by the end of this month. Everything is marked down 40 - 60% off last ticketed price. Kitchen appliances 20% off last ticketed price along with a few more items. It all started yesterday March 25, 2008. Still several good steals floating around. No vacuum cleaners or electric irons as they were moved out before the sale. I was eyeing on Dysons. Pyrex, bakeware, comforters, towels, duvets, Seally pillows are all 60% off just to name a few.

UPDATE....

Check back as several items are now upto 80% off. Still some good buys around. You have to scan each item you like to see if discounts are more than advertized. I found several again today. Too good to miss.

There are some Amazing deals there!

If you need any cookware it is all 40% off I think all the Bedding is too. The cooking appliances are only 20% off though.

I bet the prices on some stuff may come down more yet, so I am going to check back a few times.

I asked the Cashier how long the sale is, and she said until everything is gone.

Some items are red tagged at lower price but scan at 40% off list price. So keep an eye on the cash register screen. The correct price is 40% - 60% off lowest ticket price.

They have to move out by March 31. So if they can't sell stuff, it will all go either to a charity or will sell at Home Sense at higher prices.

They were just putting up the signs yesterday when I checked it out yesterday morning. It turned into a zoo at lunch today. Now most of the people know as there are signs outside the store too.

Everything must be gone, IMO, considering the rate at which people were buying last week.

There were more reductions on some items e,g, Delonghi stainless steel coffee maker was reduced to $54 from $160. There are several more reductions all around the store.
