I've been looking for a cheap wireless bridge solution ... are there any recommendation for this type of device, even a cheap router that is compatible with dd-wrt would be nice ...
I remember a couple of months ago, there was that bestbuy router that can be use as a bridge..anyone know where this can be attained or a similar device?

Why not just get another WRT54GL and use it as a wireless bridge? There are 4 ports on the back. It will do the trick once you update the firmware.

The cheapest solution would be looking for one of those Motorola wireless router (~ $25-30 refurbished) and flash it.
If you want new, Gee's suggestion of WRT54GL is good.

The BestBuy router you were thinking of is the Hawkings or Blanc one. They have the ability to run as a wireless bridge out of the box. Other options besides the Linksys WRT54GL is pretty much any DD-WRT compatible router. The cheapest DD-WRT router compatible router that's new is probably the Asus WL-520GU (http://www.infonec.com/site/main.php?module=detail&id=349351), spec wise its nearly identical to the Linksys WRT54GL, same RAM, Flash, faster CPU, but cheaper and has a USB port.
