xPiercedx's Negative Heatware: http://www.heatware.com/eval.php?id=45982
xPiercedx has disappeared since March 19th. RFD user morphixxx has already posted Negative Heatware & reported xPiercedx to MODs as they continues to investigate his purchase.
My personal dealings goes back March 1st 2008 when I purchased his 19" Acer AL1916W LCD. I was supposed to pick it up the next day when xPiercedx suddenly lowered his price to $75 and stopped responding to PMs. I just wanted to pickup my purchase.
My address is 60 Rosewood Avenue, unit 227, L5G-4W2. Closest major intersection is hurontario and lakeshore. I received your EMT deposit so pickup my Acer tomorrow
*Just a Head's Up to bad sellers, I'm fed up with scammers & sellers who leave me hanging...I will post your ID and leave Negative Feedback to prevent you from wasting my time or scamming RFDers*
Eagles12 for offering his Acer 19" AL1916W LCD then stopped responding and "No Showed" (Coxwell & Danforth) March 20th. He refuses to respond to my PMs

JL2002 for asking me to wait, then pulling his sale & not contacting me since March 15th. He still refuses to respond after 2 PMs

ronli_84 NO SHOW on Feb 25th - Ronald insisted I meet him across town. I phone 3 times that day and he kept confirming "meet you at 4PM Times Square @ Hwy 7". Dude never showed up 4PM-5PM and only after my prodding did he say he ran into trouble and couldn't sell his 250GB Scorpio.

Anyone else want to join this list or steal like those thieves urban_grey & xpiercedx? If you back out a trade then just PM me with a reasonable explanation and I'm cool (ie. you don't want to sell, it's broken, your dog died...etc). Screw me, take my money, No Show or abandoning your BST thread isn't acceptable - act like a grownup and be accountable for your actions!

RFDers on my list who believes they were unfairly posted here can PM me or ask MODs to investigate our trade. I kept our PMs so I'm not inventing stories...you wasted my time & screwed me. Stop doing it to others or prepared to get banned.
UPDATE 1: JL2002 just PMed saying he did nothing wrong...I'll update his explanation when I receive it.
UPDATE 2: ronli_84 just left retaliatory feedback saying I'm a troublemaker and he did nothing wrong...I'll update MOD's decision when I receive it.
UPDATE 3: ronli_84's retaliatory feedback has been removed after MOD's review, I may adjust ronli_84's "Negative" to "Neutral" rating if Ronald agrees to improve his trading behaviour.
UPDATE 4: JL2002 & Eagle12 both left retailatory Negative Feedback this morning. It's worth noting that they ignored all my efforts to contact them & get an honest answer for 2 weeks, it required this thread & posting feedback for them to PM me.
UPDATE 5: After a MOD reviewed all PMs exchanged with JL2002, ronli_84, Eagle12, their retaliatory feedback against me have been removed. Since no cash was exchanged and my intention was to warn of their poor behaviour I have upgraded their feedback from "Negative" to "Neutral".

I posted on RFD to sell my old hard-drive since I received a new hard-drive as a gift from a friend.
I was in contact with this buyer during deal. However, during the process of backing up my data onto my new hard-drive. I discovered that my original enclosure was compatible with the new hard-drive and it resulted in data write failure during the back-up process. As a result, I have to give back the new hard-drive to my friend.
I then notify the buyer that I cannot sell my original hard-drive since it was the only that is working for me.
However, he left a negative feedback on me.
As a result, please be warned.
If this person message you for your deal, you are in serious trouble.

I'll let MODs investigate and determine who is entitled to negative feedback. Since you posted here I'll respond to your accusations that I'm a troublemaker.
We PMed & spoke on the phone over 4 days to arrange & finalize our trade because it was an expensive purchase. On Saturday night you said I should come to your house to pickup because you live near Hwy 7. Throughout our trade I asked appropriate questions like warranty & condition and even provided reference photos to prevent misunderstandings.
Then on Sunday when I spoke to you @ 1PM because that's when you asked me to phone. You said you're busy cleaning and that I can't visit your house; "let's meet at Time Square @ 4PM was your decision."
At 3PM I phone for confirmation before I drove 70KM round-trip. When I arrived I phoned again but you didn't answer. I waited until 5PM and phoned and you didn't answer...Heck, you blamed not receiving my messages due to leaving your phone in your car. Did you leave your car for 2 DAYS? That's how long I PMed and waited for your explanation - "my hard drive can't recover data - I'm sorry I can't give you my drive today."
Fine, can you admit you screwed up and didn't uphold your due diligence and hung me out to dry? NOPE you leave retaliatory Negative Feedback and say it's my fault I'm a troublemaker. Thanks dude you're an angel.
I then notify the buyer that I cannot sell my original hard-drive since it was the only that is working for me.
Dude you didn't even have the courtesy to phone or PM me for 2 days! Don't act like you're innocent because I Was The One Who PMed you for an explanation and you provided that sorry "I left my phone in my car answer." You were not proactive, you did not apologize & accept responsibility and now you're blaming me for driving 70KM & waiting an hour for you? That's choice, I guess I screwed myself & left your feedback for no apparent reason because I have nothing better to do than drive 70KM and wait for nobody to show up.

I can't believer what I'm reading. I bought a 6400+ from this fellow not too long ago and everything worked out. He requested that I pay first or the deal would not happen. I was a bit skeptical about paying first as it's the first time being on these boards that I had to do so. But he followed through and sent the CPU once he received payment. Overall, he was a very trustworthy and considerable trader.
There must be something wrong, he must be busy or something. I hope he comes back and attempts to clear his name just for the sake of the buyers. But also it would be nice to know if he actually is scamming or just being lazy.

I waited a month, morphixxx waited weeks before xPiercedx responded to request for shipping status (even though xPiercedx was lurking bumping and reading PMs). A lot of RFDers intervened in xPiercedx's BST thread to convince OP to provide morphixxx with a tracking update.
Turns out there was no tracking at all and OP disappeared and hasn't returned since March 19th. Understandably, something catastrophic could have occurred like his plane crash-landing, but leaving morphixxx hanging warrants a warning (and ban if his purchase never arrives).

Here's a tip since I sell my stuff always locally, always call them 30 mins before going out so that way you will know he will be there. That's how I get all of my transaction working smoothly. Haven't been scammed yet or pranked or lied

Yup, for local pick ups I always ask for my buyers to call me before heading my way. I've never had a problem this way, and most buyers who aren't able to make it call me to let me know they're running late or can't come that day. I've had very few no shows (usually they call when they are ready to pick up). I find buyers on eBay are less experienced in local pick ups than internet forums (many don't even have cell phones!).

I also always tell my buyers/sellers to call me earlier in the day and just before they leave to meet up, never had a problem since

As a first time buyer on RFD, I guess I expected too much. I made a deal with someone that I never met, through kijiji, and everything went well for both parties.
I expected xPiercedx to have the courtesy to email or pm me that my purchase was shipped. I emailed him 3 days after he accepted my payment asking if it was shipped but no replies. He accepted my payment from the same email address I used. He replied to a MOD after he pm'd him saying it was shipped. He answered my pm 2 and a half weeks after accepting payment saying it was shipped. Payment was accepted February 24th and it is now April 1st and still no chip.
This guy cannot produce anything stating it was shipped. If he was really honest with this deal he would have defended himself with what is said in his thread. He comes in and bumps his thread until I made a stink in his thread and he stopped coming in.

if i were you i'd forget about trying to contact the person and just report it to the RCMP or your local authorities for internet fraud. What powers do the RFD mods really have to either A. get your money back or B. get your item to you
let him worry for once

Lol Why Pay First And Then You Have To Pickup The Next Day? Why Not Just Drive There And Pick It Up And At The Sametime Omg Wait For It....at The Sametime Give Him The Money Or Will Reaching For Your Money In Your Pocket And Extending Your Arm Exceed Your Calorie Expenditure For The Day?
Like Omg Rfders Are That Dumb?!??!?
Your saying it like we all are dumb because of one's mistake ?
You ever heard of "People do stupid things"

You guys need to trade more often. I agree for local deals that buyers & sellers should meet at a public place and examine the product & money carefully. Agree on conditions for a refund if that item breaks, if possible. Then finish the transaction.
Look at me feedback, I'm not new. There will be times when shipping is required or a seller wants reassurances to trust a new buyer. For example, if you're a newbie and you're purchasing from a veteran with more than 50 heatware, he may ask you to prepay before ship - That's normal. I just completed a trade to Winnipeg with pinkyring and he paid first. I provided serial numbers, photos & CanadaPost tracking and remained in communication to reassure my buyer. We are both delighted our trade worked out like planned.
For these Scammers & Derelicts, all info was checked thoroughly, these scammer's Name Address Phone all checked out and confirmed through PM and Phone Calls. Our correspondence was collected and passed on to MODs for review and they took appropriate action: urban_grey was banned, xxPiercedx remains under investigation, 3 received neutral-poor feedback. And all their retailiatory feedback against me were withdrawn. RFD system works :!:
Please read before you belittle & insult/attack RFDers. There are situations when a buyer is required to pay first or pay a deposit and withhold final payment until delivery. This is how it's done in real life, try getting a contractor to reno your house...if you demand paying after the job then nobody will build it. You pay in installments or withhold last payment for 60-90 days.

I'll make appropriate corrections later tonight. solidxxx has been banned for personal attacks (he was trolling Scammers & Warnings this morning).
(NOT directed at Bell Rep) Please help RFDers reclaim money or prevent scams, please don't post insults that are unhelpful. We're trying to make RFD a safer trading environment.

Yes, I would definitely contact RCMP for this matter.
Thanks.
