I got a Japanese Wii over the Christmas from Hong Kong. It plays Japanese games.

uh japanese wii's can only play japanese games. You would have to import all your wii games. Plus you will need to know how to read and speak japanese to use the system.

True, but some games come out usually in Japan before other games, so you can play games before they come out.
