How much do you pay for digital cable?

Right now I'm paying $103 (including taxes) for Rogers:

-extended basic $54
-hd pvr digital terminal rental $25
-digital services fee $3
-hdtv specialty channel package $9


I just bought another hdtv and have opted to get rid of the pvr and go with just the hd box. So I'll be paying $75 once I do the switch with the box.

The $75 (including taxes) would be:

-extended basic $54
-digital services fee $3
-hdtv specialty channel package $9

So I'm just not paying for the box for 1 year. But I still think this is a lot of money. How much do you guys pay? How does mine compare?

Are you using Rogers? That's pretty much have I pay.

Although we bought both digital boxes that we have.

you should really look into that thread and try and get the 2 years Free HDPVR. I did that and save $25 a month.

All i'm paying for is basic with the digital service fee. Anything else im missing(not much) I just download from the internet.

With the packages you want you may even be able to push a little more and get discounts on that.
