View Full Version : WAL-MART Giving FULL Refunds For HD Players

If you bought an HD Player from Wal-mart since November 1st you can return them for a full refund if you have a receipt. You dont need the box or packaging, just the receipt. You have till April 30th to return it.

I just returned my Venturer player and got my $199.99 refund.

what if you don't have the 2 movies that came with it anymore...do they deduct anything for it?

I brought mine back w/o the 2 movies (sold them a month ago). They didnt check or ask, I didnt bother to mention it.

Why wouldn't you return the movies, it doesn't really make sense to keep them if you can't play them anymore

Kudos to wal-mart for taking the initiative, they really have no financial benefit to accept these returns other than trying to please the customer

Wal-mart is doing a nice thing to the customer, but what about the factories that produced them?

Will they get any money back? It must suck for the factories if they did not get a single penny back from all HD-DVD player sales and ended up getting a shipment of used HD-DVD players.

I sold my movies a month ago. Never figured I would get a refund for my Venturer so I was gonna keep it for upconverting.

I agree, wal-mart did good by accepting returns/refunds. A lot better then what best buy an FS.

Cause I paid $200 for it back in November. Now its obsolete (HD discontinued) and selling for $50. By getting my $200 back, IF i wanted I could by 4 of the players now.
