I just bought a Targus Voyager notebook backpack at Staples for $49.97 - 50% off clearance item = $24.98. It is a clearance item so not every Staples has it in stock and the 50% off clearnce is really up to each store manager's discretion. I don't have the sku number for it so I couldn't find it on Staples website, but the upc code is: 092636226152

I got it from Western Road/401 Staples. I got the last one so I don't think they have anymore but they do have other nice laptop bags though.

Well GTA is sold out according to 2 different stores :( If I can locate I would be buying 2 of them for future uses. If anyone locates a store that has them from Toronto to London please pm me with location ( we are heading to London over the weekend)

SKU # for those looking for it is 657909...it's not on their website because it's a clearance item and the store next to me said it is sold out everywhere in the GTA...Ottawa however has 7 or 8 in stock so if you're in Ottawa, you can call to make sure that they still have it.

A note with these bags... I bought one at FS one day, and then like a year and a half later it broke... I was in staples and had it, saw the new models and they say "lifetime warranty" on them... I just handed them my old bag and they gave me a bran new one!!! YMMV to the extreme on that one though.

They do wear out after 1 year+ of everyday use.

I picked up two that were on hold for me because of you, Well worth the drive ( 30km each way ) since we just paid $99 for one a few days ago at Future Shop. Hubby loves it and now we have 2 more encase the get worn out carrying 2 laptops, accessories and other junk while traveling

its huge to fill stuff but feels and looks like a normal backpack.. Its nice fitting. Hubby carry's two laptops and cords, accessories and many other things and there is still room for minor stuff. There is no water bottle holder as far as i know but there is a blackberry/cellphone holder on the upper shoulder of it :)

He thinks its well worth it at even $99 from Futureshop so $25 if you can find it from Staples is a deal.

It was marked down to 49.99, but then the manager marked it down further to $24.98 because of a current sale. Yeah.

I had to call a few stores but apparently London East has another three or four on the floor in overstock ...

actually, it depends on whether or not the store has such clearance for tech. items.

each store (at certain times) has diff. % discounts for tech/office items.

if the store doesn't advertise such % discount for clearance items, you can ask for a discount, but they're certainly not obligated to give one to you

This is a great backpack. I have had mine for about 18 months and still love it. The thing about this backpack is it looks big, but I find myself not having enough space in it. I usually can only fit my laptop, a few books and a couple notebooks. If you do fill up the main two compartments, there is almost no way to fit anything in the insulated pocket. This is a really great backpack. Th space will be sufficient for most, but students may find the space limiting.
