I was also in the market for one. After a quick search... seems like Samsung 245 BW, The BenQ (the one that came on sale at PC village a couple weeks ago - G2400 W?) are good options in that price range. Any other options?

I had at work a 245BW and I didn't like it at all (TN panel). I replace it with a 245T. The difference is really huge (in my opinion). To bad a 245T is harder to find and it could be quite expensive.

I don't understand how come people buy monitors with a TN panel. For me, it hurts my eyes! I can spot a TN from a mile.

I don't mind TN. I just need the real estate. The BenQ2400W seems like a great deal, but its not on sale anymore.
