View Full Version : Who crosses the legs, knee on knee, while sitting?

I find it incredibly hard to do that posture and so I usually do the ankle on knee which is more prevalent amongst men.
however Ive seen men do the knee on knee, a traditionally female posture. How can they not squeeze the balls into pancakes and not feel one ounce of pain?
anyone here do it?

I do it. It's not that hard unless your balls are the size of grapefruits.

I did that when I was young.
it got progressively less comfortable as I hit puberty.

From what I can see, it looks like men who have skinny legs are able to do it.
So if you are a string-bean, I imagine it wouldn't really crush your balls like it does for the rest of us.

I find myself doing it a lot (I'm 24, 145lbs Male)
My ex didn't like it, but I told her to deal with it. She thinks it's unmanly.
My take on it, is most intelligent lightweight-medium weight people do it.
I saw Will Smith do it on a late night talk show before.

I can do it but its not that comfortable and I'm about 150 pounds, 5'9. I do however do the foot on keen cross.

Then again, I sit in a variety of postions. Sometimes I have my right leg crossed on the chair under my left thigh.
If I'm on a bus, I ususally sit in some awkward position, with my feet off the floor...Stuff like that.
Skinny people do it all the time.

I don't do knee on knee, hurts my genitals. I find calf on knee most comfortable anytime, anywhere.

I thought only gays did that?
Not only is it uncomfortable, it makes men look feminine.
Well since you can get your nads removed courtesy of OHIP, I guess more men (or former men) will be doing it.

IMO, crossing your legs like the females do is a bit homosexual.
What I often do is put my right leg on top of my left knee ...

I'll do knee-on-knee if I'm not wearing pants and my house is cold. It looks kind of gay if you do knee-on-knee in public though.

LoL, funny thread.
Always, left-ankle to right-knee + left-elbow to left-knee + left-palm under chin ;). I look kinda funny but that how I usually am at work 75% of the time :) -sg

im actually trying it right now and the others were right, its hard doing it while wearing denim pants. more friction i guess.
but what's making it difficult is not the squishing-your-balls-part, but the squishing-your-di*k-part.

It has a lot to do with the arrangement as well...it's like tetris with your balls. I can do it fine in dress pants but jeans is definately harder. My favourite time to sit like this would be when I'm reading the paper.

i think that position works well when youre sitting and playing guitar.
i can be wrong. again, it depends on the size of the package.:?:

i see a lot of older men doing it, I suppose it was a popular posture in the 1950s-60s, esp amongst older intellectual men.
there is a compromise, you can do a faux knee-on-knee by doing a high calf-on-knee so at an angle it looks like you're really doing a knee-on-knee.
then again if you have low hanging balls I suppose you could pull it off without any compression. :D

i tried it...it's way too much work imo...ankle on knee is the best...takes up more space tho..
just remember gentlemen, cross smart...never point the sole at a lady beside you...unless that lady is a man...then engarde!

I tend to put my left ankle below my right knee. I find it comfortable for some reason.
Here's George Clooney and Brad Pitt sitting knee on knee. Looks classy to me.

I personally don't do it. It's rather uncomfortable IMHO. Though I do have a friend that can do it perfectly while the rest of my friends cringe and laugh whenever he does it. I sometimes put one of my legs up and rest my foot on the other one's knee.

I am 5'9" 200lbs and it doesn't bother me one bit to sit crossed legged knee-on-knee.
Of course I am also very flexible...and no I do not have balls the size of grapenuts.

I prefer to do neither but ankle to knee is something I do occasionally but overall I just thinks it looks weird unless there isn't enough space underneath a table or something

Crossing your legs is not a good posture. It actually make your back work harder. However, if you do a lot of intensive thinking, crossing your legs helps you to concentrate. However, it makes you feel tired much quicker due to non-optimal blood circulation.

How in the world can any man with respectable sized nads do this? I'm not hung like a horse, but the best I can do is cross my legs ankle-to-knee because knee-to-knee:
1) Crushes the nads.
2) "Fruitbaskets" the bits.
3) Looks remarkably gay.
4) Isn't remotely comfortable.
