Are there any Part-time evening courses that are offered in Toronto in these programs? Would like to take a course on this. Also does anyone know if there are courses in Adobe Acrobat as well? Not looking for online training but live training.
Thanks.

No offense but it always seems like you're looking for courses for something

Anyways.. - Photoshop is HUGE. You need to indicate what level of expertise you have before asking about courses. Someone could recommend a very basic course which may include opening Photoshop/creating layers/using the crop tool etc. but this may be things you already know and would thus be a useless recommendation.

That is true it has been reposted, but I was looking for intermediate usage of these programs. I'm not looking for basic use, but more advanced/intermediate uses. To bad there is nothing like the above poster mentions like" Eliquo" in Toronto?

well acrobat is easy to fiddle with then the others, you can probably figure all the neat things just by clicking and testing. I've figured a lot out via this method.

You can try Lynda.com and download the tutorials or just go to the countless videos on YouTube. Lynda.com is really good, they are indexed video files that are great quality you can store and refer back to.
But if you have little experience in graphics/cad I would spend little money trying to learn the basics of photoshop; there is just so much free info available there is no need. I spent a few hours on youtube and a couple other sites and can now use more than enough tools to get by making horribly tasteless pictures.

You kinda have to learn the basics of Photoshop first before you do anything meaningful. There are lots of tutorials on the web. It doesn't really matter which ones you read because the goal in the beginning is to just get comfortable with the interface, such as keyboard shortcuts. There are so many tools in Photoshop that knowing the essential shortcuts is critical to being productive.

ok, I understand that it sounds like I can learn majority of the applications via online tutorials etc. This leads to my 2nd question. If I download tutorials from youtube but would like to save for archived purppses on a dvd or cd How do I go about that on a mac? This will save me time from searching on the net or if i'm away from web access to view? Can someone give me direction? i'm on a mac by the way!

I have the extracted clips from youtube as .flv files. Now I want to burn them unto a cd or dvd to view on regular tv. What do I need to do ? The softwar I have is TOAST for Mac. Do I need to convert this .flv to a different format before burning it in TOAST?
